Did some testing. The AoW scales with INT only. Minimum STR+DEX and 80 INT the AoW does 3800 dmg. Minimum STR+INT and 80 DEX the AoW does 3600 dmg, more if you hit the enemy with the blade itself, not just the magic part. The difference in damage is pretty small so if you want to be a caster and use the sword when enemies get close go with more INT than DEX. If you don't want to cast spells then go full DEX obviously.

I dont get it. U say the aow scales only with int yet when u had low int and high dex it almost did the same dmg. Doesnt it scale with both stats then?

@@desrainis123 They're saying that it scales with both but it's slightly skewed towards INT, so having higher INT is more beneficial than high DEX if all you care about is raw damage from the AoW

Got the weapon,took it to +10 and tested it on multiple enemies and since it's stats are scaling just like the Moonveil i didn't had to respec anything but the Moonveil is still slightly better in terms of damage,so if you want a new OP weapon it's not the case but if you just want a new cool looking weapon it might be the right one,just as i said don't expect to perform better than moonveil cause it won't

I love this build. Idk why but if u mimic tear+ spam ash of war sometimes u just break bosses(they will stand still and do nothing) soo be careful if u wanna fight the bosses normally.... or maybe im just dumb and something else just breaks them

It has better dex scaling, B at fully leveled, while int is only at D. A few extra points in int would help but it’s not as worth it as leveling dex

apparently 2 handing only benefits strength weapons, this weapon doesn't get a damage boost while 2 handed, minimal if at all.

It's a very cool weapon, that does technically mix moonveil and rivers of blood, however, like Rivers of Blood, and unlike Moonviel, it has ZERO stopping power. Later on when the bigger guys with their endless combos come at you, the twirling wont help :/ Thinkig of a certain lightning based sentinel somewhere with a giant f***-off sword :(

Thanks for these great videos! I really feel a lot of players have not grasped the importance or significance of how to level up and your videos now have me better prepared! I saw on Reddit there doing the cerulean coast boss like 30-50 times average. After I watched your video on how to level up, I went back and beat him first try but the actual fight I recorded was over 2 minutes. Fun fact: I almost missed this but in that section when you were going down the river after running passed all the gravebirds and activating the site of grace on that rocky bridge just below the grace look to the waterfall tp see a jar hanging from a rope, shoot it with an arrow to send the jar crashing down then just go down and collect it, its a bell-bearing
