Lara Croft protagonist and “hero”: kills tens of thousands and destroys the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands by taking an artifact from a temple on the middle of nowhere. Proceeds to not help the people of the village survive from disease, human sacrifice, or just plain protection from invasion then removes their only hope of doing so. Doctor Amaru antagonist and “villain”: spends his whole life doing whatever he can to preserve his culture, save his people, create a world without pain or sin, proceeds to let his sister go instead of killing her, and would have saved those people that Lara KILLED had she given him the key and the box.
@byakuyakuchiki88636 жыл бұрын
Uhhh...you forget how: Lara, by mistake took the dagger and took steps (with Jonah) to rectify it. And how your 'hero' Amaru setup a cult following, murdered thousands of people internationally by choice. Setup the events leading up to the dagger, killing hundreds of thousands of people. And then got seduced by the power of the dagger/box, seeking to use it for his own ends, and very likely destroying the entire world.
@gbdeck2006 жыл бұрын
Interesting stuff Both are monsters, I'd say that's not an issue for he villain but when the hero never fully reflected on their actions just shrugs them off it definitely makes it hard to like them, doesn't make her stronger either for getting past it just lacking in sympathy or empathy
@traveller75526 жыл бұрын
Byakuya Kuchiki he didn’t know that though, st that point Laura’s only instinct was that “I hate them, therefore this collateral is ok”
@ilyjustinluuga6 жыл бұрын
She was ignorant about the effects the dagger would have in terms of the apocalypse. The Collateral damage was not intentional at all. She has taken guilt, and even when she is at her resting spots, she continues to blame HERSELF for everything. So instead of self pity, she seeks to stop this horrid organization (Trinity) from abusing artifacts. Lara is fully justified in all her actions in this game. At the end of the day, she did the right thing and stop Trinity from fucking up society for hopefully the LAST time.

its a crime how no one talks about the antagonists performance (29:00) this time its your fault, jumping the gun and taking what's not yours and everyone else is going to pay for it, and he made damn sure she knew that.

"I know it's not practical but trust me." He was there for the magic shit in the previous games, she says she started an apocalypse he should have no problem taking it at face value.

Damn I haven’t played a Tomb Raider game since the 90s. I’m bout to watch this though. I hope lives it to the legend.

The ending makes me believe that "Tomb Raider", as a whole, is a completed game. Even if is just the origins. I still think this is the last Tomb Raider game ladies and gentlemen, so enjoy. And only hope for another great adventure, where obviously Lara being the protagonist and not someone else.

Here's is what was missing Lara needs a boyfriend not a husband until AFTER every tomb raider story where we play as Lara, but someone who is worthy of her. I've been watching her grow since 1996 games so us og fans wanna see a dude so worthy he can literally wield mjnolir

King Crazy. No. Lara has never had an interest in men, ever, and I think it would completely ruin her character. They tried to do this in Angel of Darkness and it wasn’t successful. Although, I did enjoy that game despite the hate.

Murder Muffin exactly thats why I said the end, because it can help her pass her torch on to her offspring like her parents did

I just don’t want her to be gay, and I’m female. Too many Lesbian characters now anyway, plus she’s so un-gay!!
