For anyone else that had trouble diving like I did. Get to the very edge of the platform, hit x to jump, then press circle button and left stick forward at the same time. You're welcome.

just to let you all know, it might be a bug, might be on purpose. but the higher a dive is the harder is it to perform. if you don't believe me find an area on ground level that is next to water that you can dive into. an island, a ledge above a river. whatever. then perform the dive, unless you pressed the 2nd button at the wrong time it'll work all the time. i don't know how many time I've swan dived just off the edge of an island. I run towards the water, jump and quickly tap the dive button and it works all the time. I can do this over and over. but when I get to one of the ledges that prompts me to hit the jump button and then dive afterwards it won't work right. I do the exact same thing, run, jump and tap the dive button and it won't do it. I must have tried over and over about 12 times in one spot and it finally did it.

For anyone struggling on the last jump like me who tried this one countless times following guidance in other comments about buttons presses and thumbsticks....I found the real trick (at least for me) was diving off exactly the same position and angle as that shown in the video, i.e. position to left of platform and angle slightly left

@@drake0074you would have to travel to a closer campsite and then walk your happy way there

if people still having trouble, someone posted down below that when you press X, follow it up quickly with R2 and ofc Circle. That worked for me

I already responded to one person's post, but if you're here because of a glitch, the game is probably telling you to do a jump that you've already done before, try the other 3, hopefully this helps.

Glad to know it's a bug and not my controller being crappy. It's a tad annoying. I want to complete this challenge so I can get the Up to the Challenge trophy (complete 5 challenges). Might have to find another challenge.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get back to the first ocation without fast travel? When I first went through I didn't find a base camp and now I can't get back there. I did the dive but I need to collect more documents and stuff

Ughh I can’t do the last one!!!! Lara just jumps even though I press B or circle to dive!!!! I’ve tried on other surfaces and it works every time except on that last platform 😭😭😭 does anyone has a solution??? I don’t know why she won’t just do the dive, she just jumps

yeah i did that too, not an obvious or helpful fix though. My game also won't do 100% competition even though I have it says 98%. it says I'm missing 1 document... but I'm not. Very annoying.

It works with an elite controller for xbox. I ran off using left stick foward then I used left paddle for A and hit B and it worked and would not work on a regular controller 🙄

Found a resolution on another channel. Apparently, X quickly followed by R2 should get you the swan dive. As annoying as it is it's good that there is a way to still get it. I did try it and it worked.
