That's when I knew that ghosts are real. I always wanted to believe that the paranormal existed but was skeptical, that was until I saw shadows that resembled humans, same shape and size, similar movements, etc. To top it off my super clingy cat refused to go into the room that I was seeing these shadows... she would hiss and growl, hair standing up, fluffy tail, etc., and then she would run to the basement which was the farthest she could get away. The house was a rental and I was happy to leave. Maybe I should write into Let's Read with my story as there is so much more to say.

So, I was in college with a group of friends when by chance we realized that our remote control also controlled every other apartment’s tv with the same cable company as ours. We immediately started turning the tv off and on and changing channels on our friends from outside their apartment and would laugh hysterically watching their confusion through the window. I know, extremely immature, we were 18 year old freshman and out on our own for the first time in our lives. We began telling stories about hauntings and such nonsense that could control your tv, especially at midnight. We did this for weeks, until the novelty wore off and we had moved on to changing alarm clocks to see if we could get our older roommate to go to class thinking he was just super tired, but in reality at 2 am. Yes, we did that too. Long story short, I hope I just solved the 3:30 am tv mystery that suddenly resolved when everything was unplugged. Whoever was messing with the storyteller with another remote, yes you told someone about the movie, someone like the immature 18 year old my friends and I used to be.

Barbara Gordon have you ever thought about praying?
@southernladyish
@southernladyish 5 жыл бұрын
stlouie88 stlouie88 praying has ALWAYS helped me when I use to deal with things like that. Eventually mine actually stopped completely. I suffered from this from the ages of 11 to 23 maybe 24. I would mostly see hundreds of spiders or ants crawling all over the walls and ceilings. I would get out of my bed, go get my mother and get her to “kill them” lol this was a common occurrence. I was scared dealing with these but not the same type of fear I had when I saw “people” in my room. Those type of hallucinations were rare for me. The one that I will never forget, I woke up scared so I turned the lights on and played my Bible audio CDs. I fell back asleep and woke up to see a man standing in the corner of the room laughing hysterically at me. Not in a jolly type of way. But sinister. Almost as if they were enjoying how terrified I was. I literally got out of bed, grabbed some clothes for work and left. Unfortunately, this incident was more than just a hallucination. I was tortured for months and months. I never saw it again, but the entity followed me everywhere. I felt it. Always. Finally, I prayed and prayed and rebuked it in the name of Jesus. I finally had peace. I still dealt with the “spiders and ants” for a few years after. But nothing like that. But again, those have stopped as well. Prayer and having faith works!! That is for sure! Sorry this is so long... just felt it was necessary to discuss in hopes it will help

I remember when me and my brother were young we used to play in his room before bedtime and some evenings we could hear our grandparents open the front door to say hallo before coming in and we ran out the room to greet them but they wouldn't be there until 1 or 2 minutes later, they would actually open the door to say hello before coming in, we lived in a big house so it was no way we heard them outside, it always freaked our mom out but we were too young to understand the weirdness in this all :)

That weirdo repeated bus pulling up dejavu experience . . . I had something very very similar, with a friend of mine in his mother's van, after he had left my place. I would have been a teenager then as well. Home alone, drawing in the living room. Came back for his hat. Complete double experience. Only time in my life. No idea what or how that happened, or why it's burned into my memory.

I have hypnagogic hallucinations as well😀😀😀...Plus sleep paralysis, night terrors & a very frequent problem with, lengthy, detailed extremely strange, very vivid dreams, that I just can’t forget... It all first started with, what I found out is called, “spontaneous astral travel”. Or, “out of body experiences” that you can’t control. They have been happening quite constantly & repeatedly throughout my life. A good portion of the nights I slept I found I woke up more exhausted, (like I traveled, lol) than rested😊....I used to be real freaked out about going to bed until I began reading people’s posts & experiences on KZbin...😊😊😊Now I’m kinda excited when it happens & I look forward to learning & accepting the experience more, (& getting past the night terrors & sleep paralysis, [easier said than done, lol]).....I also enjoy writing and drawing all the details from the night... That is when I wake up the next day😊😀😊..... I’m really learning to actually appreciate & enjoy it...Thanks KZbin, lol...😊😊😊...
