I literally JUST got the Ice rider Calyrex box, and It's a HUGE step up from all my previous decks. I have to say I prefer the Ice rider, just because I like water more than psychic, but my opinion doesn't mean much, since I don't have both.

Love ice rider and planning to buy the deck. ice rider is better because calyrex actually matches the blue of ice rider more than shadow rider. but they both are in my top 10 fav pokemon

My favorite calyrex is shadow rider! I love ghost type since it has some of my favorite Pokémon and he just looks so cool! (Some of my favorites include but not limited too: Sableye, decidueye, cursola, duskull, and mismagius!)

4:16 I found that you can fit the sleeved deck in as long as you keep the Calyrex cards separate, which kind of works out, because then you can display them. IDK just wanted to add this.

Im very late but i want to talk about the deck. Actually, this deck is the weaker of the two, but this one can be easily improved. I think Deoxys VSTAR will be very strong in combination with calyrex. (1)

In the expanded format this deck in combination with malamar is pretty good. I like the shadowrider much more than the icerider overall. But its sad that there are many DARK type decks in play, mainly bc of Mew VMAX. So shadow sder gets countered much. (sry for my bad english)

Make sure to read the card right, the mist attack is great but it's prevents them from attacking energy from there hand. Not including cards and abilities so... kinda isn't as useful as u think

Just bought this the other day and when faced with the decision between the two I chose the dark rider because I’m a fan of ghost typing, I like calyrex a lot, think it’s a very unique idea for a legendary but the decks are also very good which is cool

My 9 year old boy collecting cards and trade and we wanna start to lern to play the game behind. He has maybe 150 cards but without selecting for a 60 card deck. I wanna buy a battle deck for myself to play against him in a learning way and maybe buy him a battle deck to, if we cannot build something good with his own cards. I loved Mewtwo when I was 11 and played pokemon blue on my gameboy and watched a few videos from you. Is this battle box here better then the Mewtwo v battle deck for starting? I really like shadow rider calyrex, it was the one i choose in the games and my first ever pokemon pack i opened was chilling reign and i pulled a shadow rider. I was so happy because it was worth so much but the price really dropped and I actualy played a shadow rider calyrex vmax deck with only 1 v and 1 vmax but now i play dark rapid strike

Ice rider is definitely a better deck in my opinion, the inteleon line is so good right now. However, shadow rider just looks so much cooler and it is the one I picked in my first playthrough of shield. Spectrier just looks so awesome and intimidating.

So you got 6 pokémons how does the stages work bc obviously stage 1 wouldn't be fair against stage 2

So basic evolves into stage 1 and stage 1 into stage 2. You can only evolve once per turn and the Pokémon has to be in play for at least 1 full turn before it can evolve!

Correct only 1 stadium can be played per turn and it replaces the current stadium in play, yeah the stadiums ability can be used 1x per turn by each player. You can still only attach 1!energy per turn from your hand
