@@IdNoPurpose No boss battles definitely hinders the viability of bangers like this, but all the overworld and idle themes are just as solid - not to mention a few of the themes from the first two getting remixed. I think it’s fair to say that, even if the style has shifted slightly, it’s still at least on par with the first two in terms of seamless integration into the game’s world. I’m an avid Two Realms defender even if I didn’t enjoy the game as much as the first two, and the soundtrack is a large part of why. Partially because the original composer came back to make music for the series over ten years later, and I have huge respect for that. Ah thought you were implying I liked the devil or something like one of *those* people. Drawn to Life has a lot of very blatant Christian symbolism. Wilfre is explicitly inspired by Lucifer with his fall, and The Creator is straight up God. Developer interviews have confirmed this.

@@kristophesiem5336 The gameplay is substantially different, but that’s likely because the original two relied SO MUCH on the DS’s two-screen setup. Bringing it back on a different system was always going to be a challenge, and I think they did pretty good with what they had. The story is okay. Nowhere near as heavy or impactful as the original, but as far as a basic continuation goes, it’s… passable. It kind of feels like they were scared to commit to their super dark but super weighty story from the original since it was the first game in over a decade, so they were testing the waters first. If the original DtL is a 9/10 and The Next Chapter is a 10/10, Two Realms is a solid 6 or 7/10 IMO. Not AS good as the first two, but still a solid game with fun gameplay, characters you’ll enjoy interacting with, and great music.
