Nope. I’m a masshole and I bought this exact one ,minus the cheesie gold barrel, about a month ago. Just be ready for a little break in time. The first mag or two she didn’t go into full battery a couple times. But since then runs like a champ! Awesome EDC weapon

I have the same one as you. First few magazines had 4 hiccups where rounds did not feed, but after first 50 rounds no issues. I typically put 200+ rounds thru any rifle or magazine fed pistola before trusting for def carry and Shadow Systems states that due to the tight tollerances of the pistol to do just that. Its very accurate and the trigger is freaking awesome. Love the grip, has stippling in all the right places. I was actually thinking of going back and getting the gold barrel one for a "matched" set....lol.

It's an expensive clone version of a Glock 19, but be warned their is a break in period. Shadow Systems says about 250 rounds, mines was good after about 200 ish with 147 grain to really break it in. Is it as good as a Glock... No. But it does take Glock parts and Glock mags, but be warned... Again the magazine release is a harder polymer than OEM Glock mags and will overtime ruin the softer polymer body of the Glock magazine. You can switch out the shadow systems mag release button for a Glock mag release button if you want. Otherwise you'll have to run Magpul and ETS mags since their polymer will stand up to the harder polymer button on the Shadow Systems. Also another warning, if you ever swap out ANY parts you voided the warranty and if you send it in to Shadow Systems with aftermarket parts, they'll send it back.

It's compatible with gen3? Can i put a gen3 glock slide on it instead of that hideous slide/barrel combo? The only thing i don't like about my gen3 is the finger grooves...

Take a Dremel and remove the finger grips on your gen 3. Thats what I did. Wicked easy. I also Dremeled under the trigger well so my middle finger fits better, and swapped out the trigger & plastic sights too. Its your gun, make it how you want it

Really Toby- you run a MA FFL and know this is inaccurate. Many Glocks are on (stupid) MA approved firearms roster- you know damn well you can pay a transfer fee and have one shipped in to MA from else where (new or used). MA FFL like yourself just can't stock them in-house at counter... or you could just build one yourself at home without a serial.... like a real man.
