Lisa Ortiz is the best Amy voice actor. Sonic Adventure-Heroes Amy was pretty good too, I love her Amy but Lisa just NAILS it, I still get very disappointed Sega replaced her. She really just brings out Amy's personality so well

Nah. Ortiz's Amy was just way too shrill and annoying, and her _Sonic X_ incarnation especially was one of the flat-out worst incarnations of the character; losing a lot of the redeeming characteristics and important roles she had in the games -- IE. convincing Shadow to help save the world in the _Sonic Adventure 2_ arc, which instead got given to Chris Thorndyke for no particular reason -- and having her negative qualities and obsession with Sonic dialled up to an unhealthy degree. Later-era Cindy Robinson (IE. _Sonic Boom_ onward, when she dropped the falsetto and settled into the role more) was a much better choice for Amy, if you ask me.

@@zacknattack No. I didn't say she was a bad _actor,_ I just said her take on the character wasn't great; and not just because of the writing. While yes, that's a factor, the main issue was just her tones coming off as way too high-pitched and forced, and just didn't sound natural. To be fair, that's a problem the other actresses for Amy had as well (even the early Cindy Robinson era), so she was definitely a lot more tolerable as a character overall once the Minnie Mouse falsetto was dropped. I have nothing against Ortiz as a person, all I said was that I personally wasn't a fan of her take on Amy.

Only existed as a background character in the game they were in. Only difference is that Blaze got to be in Team Sonic Racing. At least, comics seem to handle them better as an alternative medium.

Yes. Some mission characters have more more levels, some have less. If I remember correctly Eggman has 5, Sonic has 4, Knuckles has 3, Maria, Tails, Rouge and Omega have 2, Amy and each of the Chaotix characters have 1. That, of course, is not mentioning the absolute overkill that is Black Doom, who has all levels except for 2 I believe.

If they put it together better, maybe had more time to actually make things they implemented work well, fine-tuned the controls so every level didn't feel like an ice level, it would've been a good 7/10 or so.
