He's more than likely not actually defeated. The Season doesn't end until June 4th. He probably won't show up like normal though and instead show up as the Zero skin like the end of this video

I like what Newspacepro has been doing lately, permanent deaths. It was kind of underwhelming when a character died back in Chapter 1 because they kept on being revived which really made it so that any deaths didn't mean anything as they would always come back. Now, in Chapter 2, we get to see more deaths with actual meaning as they affected the characters more realistically, in the case of Chaos Agent, he lost his daughter due to his own mistake which haunted him up until he redeemed himself with Rue. We also saw the lost of Meowscles and Brutus, which I do hope stay dead, not because I hate them, but because I feel that it would be better to have a few deaths which make the stakes very high as we know that anyone who dies will stay dead so we will wonder who will survive which makes it all the more exciting to watch. This is just my opinion, you don't have to agree with me but please don't send hate.
