I vastly doubt mind-wiping Shadow mid-fight would do anything since it's common Sega Knowledge that Speed = Reflexes and Shadow would recognize the fight as fast as he did with Omega who scales pretty high as Mephiles stated he was made to take out Shadow in the Future and succeeded. Bio-Lizard also is a mindless and tortured creature yet at its lowest point of mental cognition- can still use Chaos Control, use attacks and recognize danger and that's what Shadow was designed to be superior against. Mewtwo would still be pushed back to even cornered by now- an unhinged Shadow who has abilities past SA2. Furthermore to cap out my coin into the hat- Black Doom essentially is comparable to Mewtwo to even above the pokemon with how his Mental Hax is able to re-create entire Memories as tangible Universes, manipulate most to potentially all of his Soldiers with the exception being the newborns which suck life-force from prey, and managed to bypass Shadow natural resistance to Mind Control via Chaos Energy. Shadow's memory of Maria broke Black Doom's control to the point where talking was no longer an option which led to the Final Battle. His feelings for Maria broke Genetic Coding and even allowed Shadow full control over Chaos Control without an Emerald during Rivals. Shadow has too many ways to negate Mind Hax to even ignoring Mind Hax to Mind Wiping. The Sega Cosmology has faced its fair share of Mind Control where Chaos Users were normally fine while also immune to Chaos Energy-Amp Mind Control with the exception being Dreamcast Characters weak to Chaos-Energy Amp while the Maincast Hedgehog and Robots were immune.

That is why one of the worst fights I have seen in Death Battle, since 2 characters fight that are not of the same category.

The reason shadow became an hedgehog was because Gerald was an explorer who saw a mural on angel island of super sonic and was inspired. Bio lizard was his first attempt which failed and it was inspired by perfect chaos form mural in the lost temple from sa1. Which is why the ark starts to look like lost temple the closer you get to biolizard boss.

The one thing they got wrong when scaling Ryuko and listing off her abilities was her transformations. I'm sure someone else posted this before in the 2.5 years since this was uploaded, but fun fact: the reason Gerald made Biolizard and Shadow the way they were was because of the Echidna murals. Gerald likely studied Echidna culture when researching the Chaos Emeralds (as made evident by the recreation of the Master Emerald shrine at the Core of the ARK), and probably saw both murals depicting these "ultimate lifeforms" that were actually prophecies of the future. One of a massive lizard-like creature (Perfect Chaos) and one of a spiky-headed flying hedgehog (Super Sonic in S3&K).
