I recently found your channel, Stormy. I am 74 and have never really done shadow work. Just honestly didn’t understand the process. But this one post out of pulled the rug out from under me. This prompt caused memories of when I was six years old to flood back into my consciousness! Now I can clearly (for the first time) see the deep work I need to do. Thank you for helping me on my journey. I would appreciate more shadow work journaling prompts! 🙏🏻💝

I'm 60 and have just started to get into shadow work. I've been working with tarot for about 2 years, so I am a newbie. "I have shit to learn" as you say. Life is always a school, whether you're on the playground or in class. Thank you for your time and help. I appreciate you.

Holly sh..t I didn't realized I was told so many times that I cannot buy a house, that love for life is BS, and does not exist, and that people are happier without me .. no guessing, yeah, I isolated myself, and attached also to quite toxic relationships etc. But I didn't realized THAT is this thing about limiting beliefs that I didn't know what exactly were. Thank you so much! I did this mirror exercise thing that are on some videos. It helped me but not enough. (However it helped me so much more than many years spending in a f** psychological therapy). Thank you!! May universe bless you

I had no idea of what shadow work was. I had heard the term, but had no idea what it is. The way you described it, explained everything in a way that is down to earth and relatable, is amazing. You are beautifully raw, and honest and real. You're clearly meant to be a teacher. I feel so grateful to have found this, I really needed it. Thank you so much!

You have talked so clearly about it and its made it easy to understand, so thank you for that! I teared up re the singing trigger, having had a similar expereince in childhood.

This was perfect - such an amazing place to start this journey off. I've heard about shadow work and assumed that it had to do with resolving past traumas, but this really gave it a challenging yet effective way to begin. As I was watching, I was thinking back on some memories and caught myself hesitating...I came to answers to some questions that I never knew where to begin asking myself. So thank you, Stormie!!!! Your honesty and light shine through you; I feel so lucky to have found this video.

I just found out about your channel and I'm honestly loving it. I have a difficult relationship with spirituality (grew up in an extremely conservative household) and what I've found in other places that offer advice in this realm is just positivity 24/7. I am a really positive person myself, but I think I've reached the point where I need to balance that outlook so this video is perfect. Thank you so much for posting it!

I've been doing Shadow work since 2012, but I didn't know it was called shadow work, it wasn't necessarily directed, & I didn't use prompts. I just dove into myself with meditation, moments of vows of silence to cleanse my throat chakra, & quiet my spirit. I spent a lot of alone time reflecting & being with my thoughts. I have done a lot of journaling, & took a psychology class or two to understand my traumas. Looked into NLP. Kind of used affirmations, but those fell flat bc of the unhealed aspects of myself. Making affirmations more specific is definitely something I have to come back to though. I definitely paused my shadow work during the Pandemic, so.... It's definitely time to come back to myself. I was too focused on the world, it was unhealthy. But I'm here now. Thank you for this video. I have to go buy a new journal now. 🎶🌿🪷💖🫠💖🪷🌿🎶

Im just starting getting into shadow work...I love your honesty and vibe! I have the same feelings of not being someone that anyone really wants to spend time on...and that's something I already know about myself...im interested (and a bit nervous) to find out what the other half of me is about. I had a best friend when I was young who thought she was the BEST singer (she really wasn't and would sing in my face, (super annoying)) every time I would try to sing, she told me that I couldn't and I was really horrible, so I never learned how or tried to sing ....still to this day (35 years old) I don't sing unless Im plastered or alone in my car. I just found your channel. I can't wait to watch your other videos! Much love to you! 💜

This video brought me to tears because EVERYTHING you have said is literally me (the self sabotage, fear of vulnerability and abandonment and feeling as though everyone was better off without me). I have a lot of work to do but this has been so soothing to listen to and actually understand. Thank you Stormie.

While I've seen different counselors a few times in my life and I do love doing some self psychoanalysis my spiritual journey has been pushing tarot for the practice of going deeper. I have always struggled with the "love and light" path, knowing that the concepts were important but that the glitter was blinding most people from that balanced understanding of self, life and others. I'm working on collecting a few decks that I really resonate with and am committing to learning those deck for personal work. Was happy to find your videos! -- (I popped over here from your shadow work with tarot vid.)

I have never heard of shadow work until my partner told me about it. I have a tendency to sweep my issues under the rug and I've reached a point in my life where I'm out of space or excuses to ignore the shadows I have. I recently purchased a tarot deck and I believe it will help me be able to separate from my emotions about it to be able to learn from my past and grow. I love the journaling prompts, if you had any more of those that would be amazing. Also, just any techniques on shadow work would be incredible. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I just wrote your whole video down in a journal because this needs to be re read again and i dont want to lose sight on what i learned today. took me the whole day with caption on but worth it.. ive been on a quest for years now. but i think the rainbow and sunshine stuff wasnt really helping and like you said you have to get under all that, which i see now things way more clearer. thanks to you and all you expressed in your video. you have a raw aspect to you, unlike some out there as i mentioned the rainbows and butterflies. i appreciate you Im a beginner, and still in the shadows myself because of my home life, i cant quite get out yet,

Hi Stormie. I hope you are doing well as I have noticed you haven't been posting for a while. To answer your question I have been doing shadow work a little, by doing Goddess journey's into the underworld (Inanna/Ishtar), but feel I need to go much deeper. I think I have uncovered a lot of darkness, and even past lives, or ancient karma from my ancestors as well, so that is something I want to go into deeper. Thank you for your honesty, humor, and for sharing your vulnerability and your knowledge. I hope you are okay and that you are coming back to share your brilliance with us here. You are appreciated

I can’t wait to hear you sing!! 💖 I love how open and honest you are about everything and that you’re not trying to shove light down our throats. I try to make shadow work a routine that way I can take things in little chunks at a time or come back to bigger issues when I feel more ready. I think a good topic for a shadow work video would be combating when things you thought you had worked through come jumping back up in your face and that it is like most things in life a never ending practice. Cause we are always growing and evolving.

When looking back at my child hood ,I have been through trama that I know has molded me to who I am now , my perspective on love and relationships with people/ family , and still this directs me to why I am independent, single mother and don't rely on anyone, I realized I have to treat myself kindly like a queen and love myself , because I need me to rely on Myself , I'm a loner too , and distance my self ..I need my space to regroup and I will turn my phone off with out a care if I have to.., thank you for this video I need to work on my shadow work, how do you handle the bad the ugly like war, growing up I had a step father who would get mad black out and didn't care who got hurt 🤕, I was never allowed to express what things went on at home just keept it in and it ruined me, and I had built up anger inside .
@StormieAtlantis3 жыл бұрын
I cant tell you how to handle your own trauma because I think the path is different for everyone. However, I can tell you that I think compassion and forgiveness is the key to healing. Understanding that each person is in their essence a beautiful soul whose avatars are damaged and manifesting repeated cycles of pain out into the world, That it is not their essence, they aren't in touch with their truth when they behave that way, and its only because they too are in pain. Best wishes on your journey.

Your videos are amazing and your singing voice deserves to be heard! 🥰 I haven't really focused specifically on my shadow work ever because I didn't really know how. I did have some things show up, but I'm ready to speed up my healing process. This video is a great help and I'm definitely going to give this a try! Thank you ✨

Hi! I just recently found your channel and I can honestly say I really care for your videos! They are extremely personal and real. Thank you. 🖤 Shadow work is my absolute go-to and I try to work on it weekly. I really enjoy using the tarot for my shadow work. Do you have any reccomend tarot spreads or tarot methods for your shadow work?

Thank you so much! My next shadow work video will be a tarot video, it’s been consistently requested. In the mean time: a simple 3 card draw is my default. Nothing fancy, just nice a simple usually with straight tarot. However, I do like “the oracle of the shapeshifter” as a nice addition.

Thank you! Simple spreads are always my favorite. I feel like you can get more accomplished with a three or four card spread rather than 10+ cards. It just muddies the waters for me if that makes sense lol.

Totally, I think that’s particularly true when it comes to shadow work, you just need a simple clear bit of direction to get the ball rolling 😁
