I cannot believe this - I was just laying by the lake, not minding the soft droplets of rain here and there because I was so focused on finishing reading my book~ a book that is about Medea, that has Circe‘s name in it and from an author that published Medusa. I am fascinated and have been enthralled with the goddesses and myths of the Greek since a child, now you post this. Utterly beautiful. 🙏🏻✨

It is Medea by Rosie Hewlett. It’s her interpretation of the myth, it’s easy to read and worth it, though writing style wise it is nothing compared to Circe by Madeline Miller. ✨

I have been thinking on that. I need to find books over published over 60 years ago and the only 2nd hand book shop has closed in my town. I’m working on it. I’ll also invent some no doubt xx

@makelovewithgaba I don’t drink it because of my epilepsy. It was invented as a water purification system in the west but I suspect if it was invented today it would be banned like narcotics. The God Dyonisis/Bacchus would disagree with me but it’s not called the demon drink for nothing.
