Shadow being nice and silver being mean and negative = a very confused and uncomfortable me. Its so out of character for both and yet this is what really showed how they feel about themselves and eachother. Plus it really showed what would happen if people actually tried to understand eachother. Plus this was just enjoyable. Merry Christmas.

i actually liked the way the episode ended. It improved the characters of shadow and silver in this series. Silver finally sucked it up thanks to shadow's negative personality and told him how he really felt about everything he dealt with when it came to shadow and his antics. Shadow finally made his previous memories with maria happier ones instead of sadder ones. Because they finally understood each other shadow now has a greater reason to change his ways.

I was always wondering how would it be to see Silver actually snap and throw his nice personality out of the window to wreck things up. Now I know that it would be scary and oddly satisfying, so I'm grateful for that XD Also, nice Shadow is kind of weird to see but I kinda like him more in this version - which is strange because I prefer grumpy, mean characters. Silver and Shadow switching personalities is a bit weird. Hearing Silver be so edgy and dark is, to be honest, a bit disturbing but cool, and Shadow being all nice and happy is just not natural. But in my opinion, switching their personalities made the reaction funnier to watch.😃 Great video

It's time for me to be excessively depressing while also being entirely correct! Now then! Silver, to be fair to Shadow, his last actual friend, Maria, was an innocent who got shot right in front of him while she was saving his life, and he couldn't do anything about it. Then, when he tried to get vengeance, he remembered that Maria's last words to him were along the of "don't hold this against them, Shadow.", which made him feel exceptionally guilty about what he had been doing. I mean, how would you feel if *Blaze* was killed right in front of *you* while saving *your* life and *you* could do nothing about it, Silver? Pretty f***ing depressed, am I right? Well, Shadow CAN'T die! Who knows how many times Shadow has tried to kill himself in an attempt to be with Maria again? Or how many different ways? I mean, he can obviously feel pain, so each attempt would be painful, both for the actual pain involved in trying to kill himself, and the emotional pain in knowing that it won't work! After a long enough period of attempting this over and over again, he would, naturally, come to despise those who COULD actually die, because they can have the one thing that he can never have. He'd be hostile towards anyone who tried to be his friend, because he would have already had to deal with the reality of the fact that, since he's immortal, he will end up outliving anyone who becomes his friend, and he wouldn't want to go through that pain again. Really, the fact that Shadow stood up for you in court shows just how emotionally attached he has become to you. For you to say that it didn't matter that Shadow felt closer to Maria when he was feeling happy, no matter who's happiness it was, then he ever did, was kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5SkloSfgdJ4j7c and you should feel ashamed of yourself. Also! The point is, YOU CAN be with your other friends! You DO have that choice! It's not like Shadow is stopping you! You could have invited your friends to go to Canada with you! Except, oh wait, he totally could be, because YOU can TRAVEL THROUGH TIME! You want Shadow to be NICER to you, Silver? That sh*t ain't just given away freely! You've gotta earn it! And the BEST way to do that would be to go back to the point where Maria died, and PREVENT that from happening! You wanna be Shadow's friend? Howz bout you save his first, best friend from dying a meaningless death on the Space Colony ARK?! You want him to be NICER?! How about you make his CHILDHOOD nicer by saving Maria?! All right.
