I absolutely love the line where Elidibus says the pain and torment is nothing, because it sounds a lot like he's trying to convince himself more than us.

This tiny Elidibus is part of his original soul from the zodiac. When he became the core of Zodiac, he heard that his friends were still worrying and arguing about saving the world, so as a "Conciliator" he had a strong desire to help his friends, which made him unintentionally separated a small part of his soul from the Zodiac and became a primal.

Back when FF14 ARR came out I was hooked when hits dropped and in each xpack that the player was a ascian of the pass but now in SB known as a Amaurotine. In EndWalker we get more hints keep your eyes on keywords "Azem and grapes".
