Tip for pete: in owlbear rodeo if you keep your dice tray open when other people roll, it shows you their trays and results which you can go look at :)

Thanks. I could see the rolls, but I couldn't get to see their trays. I'll have another go on Thursday. I like it though. Simple, so great for old school.

So I was wondering how the “real time” light sources would work (especially if there’s pauses for GM exposition / player questions / rules bits and bobs) I think a pausable timer / hour glass would be an interesting addition / alternate option ? Thoughts ?

We were using a timer on owlbear rodeo and bearing it in mind. When we had a brief break I noted the time and resumed on that when we returned.

Just backed the core book, but couldn't afford the Cursed Scroll zines. I think those will be crucial going forward however, to give reluctant players more options. I've dabbled with Owlbear Rodeo, but what are you using for chat?

We used zoom for video and audio. Owlbear Rodeo is fun and simple, great for these kind of osr games.
