The time is now! I have finally got my hands on the NEW Dewalt Toughsystem DXL storage tower roll cab tool box and I intend to put it through it's paces and give you the most in-depth review possible! It is a massive toolbox with drawers made just for Shadow Foam, so whilst I deck out the drawers in both DeWalt hand tools and Power Tools, let me show you my 5 favourite things about the DXL system and what I think they need to fix sooner rather than later!

great new addition to DeWalt system started collecting tools in 1963 with Britool tools as a motor mechanic still buying tools today over the years I realised draw storage is the best way to organise all your tools

Just upgraded to DeWalt 18V XR system after using Ryobi One+ for a number of years. After years being employed and reaching my mind 50s with years of DIY experience I've decided to change career and become a self employed handyman. Love shadowfoam - in work it keeps my EMDR trauma kit safe and sound while lugging it between clinics - been using it for over a year daily and the foam is still perfect! Bought a load from you last year and still migrating it into my DIY toolboxes but love the results so far - especially as they've survived the Balistol winter service I give all my expensive German tools to keep them in peak condition. Love having the bright colours underneath which helps you see when something is missing - stopped stuff going walkies. The system looks well thought out, and I like that it’s mobile. We all like the big hunks of steel drawers, but in reality it’s so much more useful to move around a small stack on wheels, have a work surface on top, and if needed just pick a single box of your regularly needed tools and remove it from the stack. Still haven’t decided on what brand I might go with but dewalt looks like a strong contender. Also: hats off to you for making rare and interesting tools more readily available through your new website! I’ve looked around for Sata since you showed them but wasn’t able to find their stuff, excited to see they’ll be added soon
