“When you took a run at my baby brother”. Izzy has always had a deeper connection to Max. Both in the books and the show! And all the emotional scenes between izzy and Max on the show, were (for me) the highlights of the Entire series! And even the scenes where Izzy only mentions Max. When she’s describing him to clary, when she’s fighting alec on not sending him out on a mission. Her maternal side towards him is just so beautiful

Believe it or not, I prefer this version to the books, not just because of the added drama and taunting on Jace's part, but also because I had no wish to watch Sebastian actually steal Izzy's whip and use it on her. No one should want to see that. I'm also glad that Max was not actually killed off. That plus Alec's break-up with Magnus, plus everything else, including learning of the betrayals in his family would have been too much for him if Alec had actually witnessed it.

Izzy is stronger than Jace I think, mentally and physically. But if they had just asked Magnus to be there he would of undoubtedly incarcerated Jonathan, because at this point he has no demonic power and is just a strong evil demonblooded shadowhunter.

@@jasonmoukala8909 yeah I did. Jace was always stated as being the strongest by those around him, but Izzy was always underestimated by her mother. By the end of S3, I'm almost sure she could have bested him, the same as he could've bested her. Izzy is stronger than most when her family is threatened.

It’s funny cause here he is no way as strong even he mentions it to valentine shapeshifting makes him weaker but in his original body in season 3 when Lilith brought him back made him even stronger then the average shadowhunter considering he took all of them down Izzy, jace and Simon without breaking a sweat
