Fucking hell! I'm just getting into Shadows Fall. The only songs of theirs I know are Fire From The Sky, Save Your Soul (which I've only heard once), and now THIS. I gotta hand it to them, they make one hell of a first impression! I predict this band will rise far in my book...

Just bought the album a day ago. I didn't even know they were making a new one, but then seen Fire From the Sky and bought it without listening to it because I knew it would be good. I like every song except # 5 because the guitar style isn't my taste, and # 10 because i'm not into the whole death growling crap. But the rest of the album is solid, easily worth $12 bucks. Go spend money on this album and support these guys.

Shadows Fall is one of the only modern metal bands I have some faith in. They always seem to make a different, and unique record. Most of the bands today seem to continue making cookie cutter, run of the mill metalcore records. Shadows Fall always keeps it interesting.

Trivium was pretty original, atleast up until other bands started copying their techniques. Ascendancy was their best album to me, after that, it went down-hill. Not to say that Shogun and In Waves didn't have their moments of course. But I'm here to pay my respects to Shadows Fall. The one band who isn't widely known by the mainstream folks, yet still proves to be more brutal and original than any mainstream band that they may placed in comparison with.
