2 Corrections in this video: Unlicensed headhunter: The card heals the opponent it doesn't damage your base as I claim in the video. This make the card far better to be used in a control deck to have early interaction in space and trade with 7th fleet defender, I upgrade my rating to a 6/10. Let the Wookie win: Didn't realize the card also ready any unit, this make the card a lot more powerful, but I don't think it's good enough to see play, I upgrade my rating to a 3/10.

Liking "Let the wookie win", It has potential! With Cubacca leader, and now unit, you can have a pretty beefy unit on board and they can be tapped out and take initiative. You are also tapped with two left, you play that card and either get a second play or attack. Very very GOOD! especially with doing it twice in a row! BTW, it says "Ready a friendly Unit" that is ANY UNIT. If it is a wookie, gets +2. So, this WORKS outside of WOOKIE decks too! Cool, I'll ready my HOME ONE or you can ready a Leader! How about Cassin and draw a card, then do it again and play something 1/10 nah nah Nope

BT-1 and 0-0-0 (and possibly her ship, the Ark Angel) will be the foundation for the Aphra engine. She’s such a popular character in the comics my bet is she’ll be in the meta, just like she was in Destiny.

Dr Aphra is not horrible in vigilance with lots of removal and ambush. You fill the discard pile pretty quickly and can bring back good removal / ambush / damage (Ma Klounkee). Sets up Fennec Shand as well...That said, all of that is at this stage not worth it picking her over other yellow villian options.

Cartel Spacer into Swoop Down in a Boba deck is like a shoot first, more versatile even and can deal with sentinels/shields in the mid/late game. I see this card at least at a 6/10 in certain decks IMO.

On Swoop Down you do not have to attack a Ground unit, or any unit for that matter. You can just use this one cost to hit the base around a Sentinel.

I think its a solid card, can go through sentinels in space and hit base.

@@Thorrk_THT In red/yellow decks it allows you to easily defeat 3/5 or shielded units and many leaders. The client, boba fett unit, Toro Caligan, Doctor Evazan...

I think we could see the desesperate attack being played in a GI deck since he can manage the damage on his unit

Laisser le choix entre 2 maux à l'adversaire n'est pas le plus efficace mais c'est amusant. A Magic je joue 2 decks noirs basés sur ce principe : l'un qui joue des cartes qui lui laissent le choix entre la peste et le choléra, et l'autre avec lequel il a prend un retour de bâton quoi qu'il fasse. Des winrates corrects sans plus, mais c'est surtout très satisfaisant à jouer 😁

"Swoop Down" , 3/10, maybe? Nah? 1 just for gaining saboteur in space is pretty good, now add if you want to pick off a ground unit. Making Space domination possible.

Let the wookie win dans le bon deck ça va faire des ravage. Tu le joue dans un double jaune. L'adversaire va toujours devoir te laisser ready une unit de peur de faire face à un showdown. Ça demande du timing mais ça va faire gagner des game

Another potential huge issue with Dr. Aphra is that by the time we have a critical mass of recursion cards she may very well be rotated out of the legal playsets for Premium.

We have no idea how rotation is going to work. and if rotation there is she will still be a think in whatever legacy format they will make (maybe the unlimited format ^^). What I am more afraid of is that even in a dedicated self mill deck you might prefer a tiny bit less mill to get a real leader with good stat and a powerful ability (like boba)

I have faith the the SWU designers not to give us a completely trash leader (Finn / Aphra) - this cards are plants for future archetypes.

I thought Finn worked to defeat upgrades like bounties because of his tag line being "This is a rescue" but if your interpretation is correct this leader is a let down.

Yes I am pretty sure I am correct on this. An upgrade played on enemy unit like an entrench for example is still under your control, so if you get eliminated in twin suns it disappear.

Any card that is dealt with immediately and doesn’t have an on played ability is a waste (re: Snoke). Nothing new there.

Hmmm on unit with 2 or less HP Snoke does have an immediate impact. Also against deck that rely exclusively on unit with ambush to deal with threats, Snoke is a massive problem. So as I said in the video, Snoke is very meta dependant.

I think Snoke is situationally very good. In Iden Blue it seems like a very good card for following Super Laser when up against decks that like lots of smaller units. He single handedly negates so many efficient units.
