I have to say that your video saved the day, I was stuck since the other instructions I found where not very clear about a couple minor points that make the major difference. The tip about unchecking auto-reboot in Odin and how to reboot after installing TWRP (the many finger trick press all darn buttons!) saved the day. Literally, saved the day. So kudos to you.

Hey, thanks for the video! It helped me a lot! However, my wifi stopped working after installing the ROM. Can someone help? I tried this ROM (ViperOS), and also LineageOS and DotOS, but all result in the same problem. When I try to connect, the wifi label blinks and says "Saved", or sometimes "Authorization fail". No matter how many times I try, it never connects. Trough my modem manager app, I can see the device connecting for less than a second and than disconnecting. I don't think it's hardware problem, since wifi was working fine with original firmware.

Ohmygod, I cant express in words just how you've much I appreciate and love you for this! My SM-T561 Tab E? Back from the Android 4.4.4 graveyard, baby!!!. Bluetooth is a bit iffy, but not a problem for me. For anyone trying this out on a T561 i'd reccommend going through the XDA developers' site given in the descriptions once, they might have troubleshooted this issue in later versions. Ngl, for a moment there i almost shat myself when I got stuck on a bootloop. Having known you'd already uploaded a vid to unbrick the device was a great motivation for me to go through with this. I flashed it again And before I knew it, I had a revived tablet running on a sexy custom ROM. Liked, Subscribed, Recommended, Shared. You deserve it, Doc.

Worked great, only problem i had is that i downloaded the TWRP 3.1.1-1 version , and when i wanted to enter de TWRP menu it just didnt. I just had to use the 3.0.2-1 version thats listed in the description. Thanks for the guide.

Wow cool I'm so glad I spent 30 minutes following this video and downloading all the files only for the Kies download to, for NO REASON, not work, and when I try to download it from another place, I cannot run as administrator (I am definitely the admin and ONLY user of this PC). All this while my tablet is trying to download odin and I'm pretty sure it's bricked. Fantastic, I really just love Windows so very much.

Great job! In T560 i just needed to install a zip of magisk manager to get root acess garanted and disable the ipv6 on wifi connection in reason of randomly disconections, (a knowed bug in android nougat in ipv6 hosts, not specific of that rom) with a ordinary script. Very useful, with great quality in stream reproduction, great managing of ram and smoothly battery consumption without stucks.

This is great and much better than Lineage OS that was restricting memory to only 750 MB. Istill have issues with the Bluetooth but maybe its something else.

Thanks Doc. . YOU did great. Quick question please. I currently have Lineage OS on my Tab E. Can I install this Viper OS to replace the Lineage OS or I will need to revert the Tab to Stock Rom V4.4 before i can install this viper OS. The Lineage OS works fine. But my sim card keeps loosing network easily. I've changed many sim card. But it's still not connecting to data network. Please reply.

U can just download lviper is place on SD card boot into twrp wpie the lineage ROM from the tab e then install viper is and all other files then reboot

i almost bricked my tab, at the begining, it was ok, but when i tried to plug mi piano keyboard to synthesia, nothing happened, and then i tried some combination of versions of rooms or openg. and nothing, in the end i almost bricked my tab, doing some noob and foolish stuff like super wiping, anyways, i researched a bit and ended recovering with odin. do you know why it didnt worked? it never recognized the micro usb, when before me putting the rom was something quite normal

Thanks so much .I needed a step by step approach as I'd never done this before... I was fed up of "unsupported" and " no more updates" .KZbin app wouldn't load , said I had to watch on chrome or nothing .Took the plunge and installed it . works great ! Looking forward to the next upgrade ! Cheers

I have a problem with my Samsung Tab E. When I start it it says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again. But when I open Kies and connect it it says device not responding. Restart the device and try again. I tried to restart it much times and it still doesn't work.
