Worked but not the same exact steps on my 4 classic. Had to hold both buttons down until I saw rebooting then double tap both buttons quickly. That got me into setup. Used the top power button to navigate to recovery then push same button. The next screen I had to use touchscreen to scroll to factory reset then push top button again. Then sit back and wait. Sure nuf like new. Thanks so much for your help. The double tap got me where I needed to go.

I've reset both in watch settings and in recovery mode and it still has a pin lock, when I try to do screen capture by holding down power button and swiping from left to right, it still asks for my forgotten pin number

Guys if for you after you hold it down it says rebooting and then it goes back to home you need to hold it down for longer for like 20 seconds then the menu comes- I hope this helps you
