@@k4shdummi when u connect the phone and open the Huawei gallery app which watch do u see a picture of? This is whats causing the problem the health app allows u to connect and pair to another huawei watch but u wont get the real features of your watch unless u connect and pair to your exact watch so make sure u connect to the correct watch and u can see the exact pic of your watch when it says connected in the huawei health app

@@k4shdummi well im not sure whats happening if u look at my video i didnt have the app gallery option then after resetting the watch and scanning the bar code it directed me to the updated huawei app and from there i was able to get the added app gallery option

It all depends on the region u live, which is a must for the app to allow location. I tried this more than once but it didn't work. I changed the country but still it needed my location to pair and work. Doesnt work in all countries. 😢

Viewers: the solution presented in the video is to uninstall the Huawei Health app from your phone, reset your watch, and then download the Health app again by scaning the QR Code the watch prompts you to. That link will supposedly lead you to a more up-to-date version of the app with the features that were missing. I came here because I couldn't find the option to search for free faces. For me the solution didn't the work, but I figured out I can just search for "Free" in the search bar at the top (at least that is available in my app), and I just have to scroll down a little to see all the free faces. The sorting prioritizes paid faces apparently, so the first ones that appear are the paid ones with the word "Free" somewhere in the name or in other metadata. Just scroll down a little and there you have it. You're welcome
