Shady Camp, Mary River and the Quest for Barramundi!

Ever since arriving in the Northern Territory I have been hanging to get on to my first Northern Territory Barramundi. With some local intel we decided Mary River was where my quest was to be answered! Shady Camp is one of those bucket list locations for every fishing enthusiast, even more so during the run off in March / April. The quest was long, but finally bagged the big one! Not in the one meter club yet, but the account has been opened. Also checked out the Darwin Crocodylus Park which was great, especially during the wet season as we had the place to ourselves! Enjoy!

1 more tick off the bucket list with the Barramundi catch. Great episode from the top end bet it's extremely comfortable with less people in the van parks and the prices are quite good. Looking forward to the episode on Vet work for something different. I'll make sure my wife watches as she is a retired Vet Nurse. Cheers guys, try to stay dry.🤙👍

Thanks Anita, yeh i was super happy to get my first NT barra! My previous life was high stress and long hours in corporate Australia managing large programs. Original background was engineering but also did my masters in business... so yeh, bit of a sea change really! 👍
