Love that drive. The first time I came down 322 from Harrisburg to Ephrata was 1954. I was young and enjoyed the drive. The Rts 222 and 322 intersection is called a Divergent Diamond. It is like a figure 8. Supposedly, it is working to help stop T-boning and head on collisions.

Hi Pegge! We definitely don’t like that new intersection. It’s a weird configuration and kind of feels like you’re going the wrong way in spots. Hopefully it helps though! So glad you enjoyed this drive! Enjoy your night!💜💗

Thanks, always loved Ephrata even tho they were our rivals as Spartans….haha. My folks were in town today visiting Red Run and surrounding farmers they still know.

Nice to be able to look at all the old houses and barns. My family and I used 322 in 1961 to drive home from Cleveland. No interstates back then. 322 runs from NW Pa to the Delaware River south of Chester. It goes through lots of towns, including State College. Still a beautiful drive, get off the interstates and see rural Pa.
