Isn't general Drakkasath better than the engie+cook duo since it enables an extra spot for Kali or drakkari? if none are golden obviously, the access to eyes is nice

cook can still be useful if you don't hit engineer and Drakkisath forces you to keep murkeye to get any value, you can also cycle engineers without murkeye with cook where you can't with Drakkisath murkeye as you can't target murkeye with engineer.

Murkeye trigger x2 battlecries on Engineer, which then x2 triggers Cook’s end of turn effect, which is also then multiplied by Drakkari again. These kind of understanding of mechanics is one of the things that separate top tier players and the rest.
