Im so glad i came across your video. I play superstar mode cornerback and put my guy in the slot and i noticed that when i played certain coverages that the computer covers guys that its not supposed to. I noticed that they got rid of the match option and just made certain plays match. When i saw the cpu take a zone they wasnt supposed to i straight went to see if the play was actually match and it wasnt. It was definitely a cover 3 play.

The intentional grounding needing to be off I'd wrong. I have had it on, and most qb's who would in real life are scrambling against me. Which is a huge improvement over the last few years

It's not wrong actually. There is a massive* difference in CPU performance SPECIFICALLY with Balanced and Pocket archetypes in terms of scrambling tendencies. This setting is easily testable. I noticed you said "QB's who would in real life scramble" well every QB should be willing to scramble given the right circumstances and that's what this setting impacts.

14:20 Solution for the Run pass ratio: Use the generic playbooks or the teams that have obvious running quarterbacks or like chicago, philly, Baltimore. The 49ers and Colts playbooks have decent ratios as well. and assign them to the CPU using the two controller method. This method only works on OFFLINE solo franchises. One last thing, if you are tired of running the ball on the CPU like crazy, switch the game style to COMPETITIVE in both the main menu and in franchise menu. My slider set is really close to yours bro. Keep up the good work! Ps. That no diddy line was CRAZY lmao you a fool for that one 😭

@ShadyMike in offline franchise, turn on 2 controllers before starting a game. At team select, get your team in order first. Then move controller 2 over to the opposing team, edit their playbooks and then move it over to the middle. Then start game. If you back out into the menu, you'll have redo these steps. When the game starts, the CPU will be using whatever Playbook you assigned to them. If the second controller has a madden user profile, their auto sub settings will load as well which is another bonus. Caution: using custom playbooks for the cpu, as far as I know, crashes the game so you'll have to use generic or natural run heavy playbooks

I play franchise on all-Madden and lower the cpu sliders to 30 and EVEN that is still tough ill be up by 2 scores next thing i know 4th quarter its damn near gona go into OT like whatt

So tried your coverage sliders...was pretty good...only thing I notice is how many more PDEF the CPU has over the user any suggestions to get that stat more even...I'm seeing around 4 to 13 ratio user to CPU

Put pass blocking wherever you need it! Ratings REALLY matter and while the Eagles O-Line is great IRL in the game we got like 2 dudes who are 70 OVR so there's been a lot of interior pressure for me too.

QB accuracy for cpu should have actually been called QB awareness. It affects that more than accuracy.

I have heard this, and I do not agree. Lowering the slider definitely makes the CPU less accurate and you will see more overthrows. The only slider I’ve seen really impact QB behavior is intentional grounding.

@@ShadyMike U are correct. TBH I have not played M 25 yet. I have modded Madden gameplay for years, and noticed the accuracy awareness parameter within the atribsys files. It might have been changed in M 25, but in the m24 and other Madden games, the QB accuracy slider also affected the CPU awareness.

@@Vtee1 Yeah because in the past we always avoided dropping the slider because it made CPU QB's stupid, but this year it seems like some of the parameters were tweaked a bit, and tbh they seem to have way less if any impact these days. Shoot I've had the CPU go for 300+ with accuracy at ZERO!

If you are struggling to complete passes I would consider dropping the difficulty down to All-Pro to match your roster/skillset. I personally haven’t had a single game under 65% completion percentage.

Apparently i had won a giveaway from mike but the comment dissapeared after i commented, as for madden, im sure some people are having as i did with the M24 with Sabos gameplay mod but at this point. I want to be able to choose between nfl games again so i guess i gotta support not playing it. CFB while has its own issues is college so ill suffice. I am surprised i just booted up 2k5 on the PC. Told myself i was deleting all the old games but luckily laziness pays off

This game is really bad. I play superstar and noticed if you do no huddle then the clock runs off but if you dont do no huddle and just pick a coach suggested play the playcock doesnt run off at all.

Yooo, those parody/speed threshold sliders don't even EXIST in my gameplay sliders settings in my offline franchise!!! I'm on ps5! Neither are there. Just the old vintage "min play speed threshold". Wtf!?!?! Game is so broken. QB accuracy ratings have absolutely ZERO impact on gamwplay either. Set all your QB accuracy ratings to a 1 and enjoy throwing 32/35 for 400+ yards on all-madden. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

....and now after checking and tweeking a couple other things my game completely crashed while saving. I can't manually save anymore. It has crashed 6 times in a row. I can only use my auto save on offline franchise. I can't even create a NEW file. Dude! This is fucked
