Especially suicide songs that people listen to and can relate to their depressing situations that they’re in at the moment. The thing is that there shouldn’t be anything in life that should even be worth thinking about suicide. If you try, there is always a way to make life better. Life isn’t “LIVE DIE REPEAT, Edge Of Tomorrow”, there’s no reset button...Sorry for that, just speaking my mind lol- this isn’t directed at you or anyone. I mean, it’s fiine to listen to cool new music but if it seems to make you feel depressed, listen to other music until you can have happy thoughts again hahaha

Matt K Hmm..I haven’t thought about that. But are you sure that’s what the lyrics and video imply? I mean, the video could have said more if it was really about severing toxic ties. Like wouldn’t they have shown a couple flashbacks of her and her missing boyfriend together or something similar? If she is just dancing around with a knife and singing about “talking to myself at night, it feels good, it feels right” and torture, then it’s more like she is finding herself hallucinating about a fantasy going on in her head that she follows through with. But there is no doubt that she was talking to someone (possibly her boyfriend- but then there’s really no way to really know ‘cause it could be a friend, relative, or maybe someone who she knows but is not close with. There’s no hints indicating who the mystery figure is.) If she’s in a toxic relationship with someone, then maybe she is the one who is toxic, not the other way around.
