Shaggy came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, where he started out speaking to Shirley Ju about growing up in Kingston, Jamaica in an area called Rae Town. As a kid, Shaggy spoke about seeing the artist Yellowman perform and knowing that he wanted to be an artist from that point forward. The only connection is they both were emulating black American radio personalities who used to do “toasts” on their shows. Vlad is not interested in interviewing high profile black men who haven't been to prison for selling drugs or killing people. Shaggy is from the ghettos of Jamaica but he went to America and made it. He is also a war veteran. So Vlad has no interest in these type of black men who try to keep there stuff impeccable.
