Great video! I needed this before I closed on my house. I had a great lender who went above and beyond through the whole process even on Saturday when I needed him. I got frustrated having to send paperwork over and over again and explain things multiple times but I held on and now I’ve had my home for over a month now. Just like the video says do what is asked and keep praying until the end. 🙏

Good info. Appreciate everyone’s time. A little push back “Listen to your loan officer” “they know a little bit more than you” My loan officer had never heard of Chenoa. Was unwilling to learn/ask colleague (s). And became annoyed and short when I wanted to use it. This is a one of many areas she didn’t know and sent me to others to seek answers .

I am late to the party, and I’m sooooooo glad I came across this video, I am in condition approved stage, but most of my stress came from my lender, everything most sound like they deal or dealt with going through underwriting was my experience before I even got there.. lol, which I think paid off when I made it to underwriting, she asked for a couple of explanation documents, which were something I could get done back right away, but I’m still sitting on the sidelines because I’m waiting on a new build and I’m hoping to close end of September, but I’m glad I can woosa a lil after watching this, you ladies asked and answered questions and concerns. Don’t overlook non conventional lenders, such as asset based lenders and DCSR (debt coverage service ratio) lenders. For those that don’t fit in the box of the conventional lenders, these are excellent resources, very few people know about.

This is the kind of in depth information we all need when we are in the stressful process of trying to get a mortgage loan. The underwriter is behind the scenes, so we don't get to ask them questions. I have learned that lenders aren't realtors and realtors aren't appraisers or inspectors. They all know their job, but they don't understand all the important things that the other person does. We need the facts "from the horses mouth". Thanks for answering our questions and taking some of the stress out of a complex process.
