She was talking about what was happening then, and we were so lost and didn't stop it that it's continuing today. Entertainers like LLKoolJ wore huge chains, and many wore name brands, now 2chains and others are doing the exact same thing. NFL still uses words like traded and owned. The NFL makes majority black men stand in their underwear doing excercises in front of cameras, like the scene in 12 years a slave. If we don't WAKE UP another generation will be saying, she's ahead of her time. No fool, We keep going in circles and never seen the promised land.

The Most Honorable Dr. Shahrazad Ali is indeed speaking so much truth on this show as the sister always does where ever Dr. Shahrazad goes ,yet unfortunately how dark brown skinned a Black person is doesn't mean that Black person cannot have the mind of a Stephen (The character that Samuel L. Jackson portrayed in the movie Django unchained) Armstrong Williams has been a Stephen for years & he is proud to be a Stephen.
@GamingWithjay1992

Indeed he is the darkest person in the room perhaps he can be a Hammite (African) for a long time Negros and Africans have been mistaken as the same group of people, because we share similar skin, but in reality we are a different nation of people the people who were captured from Africa on them boats and brought to America were indeed the true Hebrew Israelites, we fled to Africa to blend in after escaping Egypt, but at the end the Africans sold us out to our oppressors, is why you here white folks saying you were sold by your own people, no they aren't our people they just had similar skin, and tho ham and Shem are brothers they still were two nations, then you have jahapeth that's a different story tho for another time lol

We’re in the year 2022 and have the same issues as yesteryear. The same edition of the book “ARE YOU STILL A SLAVE” is necessary today for solutions. The opposers in this taping was contrary then and the people in this time is worse off now. Shahrazad Ali wisdom is the reason this taping will be relevant for years to come.

This type of intelligent discussion among black people will never take place on mainstream television today! Networks would never give this a platform today. I grew up in that time and we were truly on the brink of greatness. Even white people were becoming more aware. Look at how intelligently everyone represented their opinions. We have actually regressed as a people and as a society at large.

Starting at about 9 minutes in on the dot I can hear what she is saying and that is fundamentally true on all levels for all people; a therapist and psychologist are taught that in order to heal you must be able to acknowledge what has happened to you and confront or talk about that traumatic event. But I disagree with (not her) being traumatized by re - experiencing the event like they do in school by continuously throwing slavery in your face while in a class with those who have benefitted from slavery including the person teaching it and everything else 🤔... He was right when he stated that we should not play the victim because that makes you weak. Also the Caucasian lady was right about us constantly being dismissive and fighting with one another. Last Shahrazad great comeback by pointing out how some of us listen to a white person over a black. Great show...

I believe even in your writing as I have self taught Myself, People words are powerful. As a Writer, I write about the real power born Americans have because of this envy opposed on us to not show what we know that should be done to help our People. I would like to help Readers understand the power versus abuse of power by very prejudice, racists, jealous, and envious troublemakers. Speak as a Leader that know right instead of keep glorifying wrong. Most of us already know what is wrong in America. We should focus on what is right and verbalize the truth. The tongue is the most powerful part of your body. The tongue should be used to uplift the truth and not continue to defend corruption in the USA. Thanks for sharing

They also stripped AA's of their language, culture, heritage, and god, and this was done by a specific group of people who lied and deflected from the truth but most importantly hide their bloody hands when told about their direct involvement with dehumanizing AA's.
