Aamir sir once said SRK sir plays safe he only chooses romantic roles but I think Aamir sir also chose only serious roles in which he has serious face 90% of the film like Raakh, Raja Hindustaani, 1947 Earth, sarfarosh, lagaan, Mangal Pandey, Ghajini, Talash, Dhoom 3, Dangal. I don't know why but aamir Khan sir brought unique stiffness to the charecter in dhoom 3, I can't understand y he is super serious in most of his movies but for this movie may be script demanded him, but from tap dancing to sahir's role his body was so stiff it made me uncomfortable to watch the movie, but Hrithik also played serious role he had brought lot of coolness in dhoom 2..

I really think SRK is the greatest actor that India has ever produced because I belong to South India and I don't know a word in hindi during my childhood days but SRK has a magic that even kids can understand his emotions without knowing the language and TBH I saw other actors in the same age but neither I could understand the Hindi nor their acting. But because of SRK I started to understand Hindi now even after becoming a grown up and an avid Bollywood film lover. I still think there is no one who can act like him. In veer-zara as an old man the way he shivered his hands and the voice he changed to a weak old man's voice is flawless. In Om Shanti Om the difference he brought to 2 characters like a humble loving sensitive Om the aspiring actor, and cool stylish easy-breezy and little impatient Om the superstar is so amazing. Even though I didn't like Devdas for one reason as he keeps saying Chandramukhi "mai yahape aata hoon ki thume bardash karsako" many-a-times than the original but his performance was spectacular. I also think he is a versatile actor he did out and out comedy in Chennai Express and villain in Baazigar and Autistic in My Name Is Khan as a serious and strict coach in Chak de India and psychologist in dear zindagi and army officer in Mai hoon na, nasa engineer in swades he is not just great only as Romantic actor I think few PPL try to take away stardom and good name from him as an incredible actor.

Both Hollywood and Bollywood have their respective strengths. Our problem is we are not adapt at 'story telling' - we mandatorily over dramatize the screenplay!! And the industry has now come to aspire (stupidly) for a fad called 200 Cr or 300 Cr Club. Worse, they foolishly take pride in this phenomenon as well. A good narrative (like 3 Idiots) will automatically qualify for those. (Didn't Rancho himself say : "Success ke peeche nahi, Excellence ke peeche bhago". To phir kaha gaya excellence...???). And second, I feel the literacy/quality of education is not very healthy in the industry. Let's start honing our skills in narrating the vast repository of epics we have - the Mahabharat, Jhansi Ki Rani, Ramayan, Bhakt Kabir, Life of Vivekananda - the world will surely laud us handsomely for job done well should we reach the benchmark set by the 'Ten Commandments', the 'Gladiators', the 'Ben Hurs'. And lets not over dramatize the representation of the charecters and the core messages in the epics - that dilutes the stature of these epics. We need more Satyajit Rays, Mehboob Khans, .... rest will follow! And when the 'Ben Hurs', 'Cleopatras', 'Casablancas' or even the later 'Godfathers' , 'BUGSYs', 'Philladephias' were made, the role of technology was basic and had minimal part to play in their success. Cinematography, imagination, craft and skills took care. Hope I made sense! Best wishes!!
