It's not really about the aptitude at that point it's her genes. In Allegiant she's revealed to have "pure" genes meaning her DNA doesn't have the editing solution their ancestors used to try to remove people's dishonesty or cowardice or selfishness. The percentage of Divergence was added to the film though while it wasn't in the books probably to make her exceptional even among other Divergents and give Jeannine a reason to lure her there. Essentially her DNA is untampered with and she is capable of having aptitude for all 5 factions. However, it's clear that she has more aptitude for certain traits than others because of her life experiences which proves that no matter what your genes are you will still be shaped by your social environment. Tris may be "pure" but she still struggles with morality like anyone else. She initially failed Amity and if it had been someone other than her mother, whom she misses and longs for, in that simulation she may have been less honest. In the end her Divergence isn't about being all things at once, it's about not being confined to one ideal. Sorry for the essay to anyone who actually reads this 😄
