I was definitely expecting a different rendition of the song. However, this dance is very simple and excellent for beginners to grasp as well as enjoy. Wonderful job calling it out so everyone was on the same page!

I agree with you. I was also thinking those 1st four (4) counts should be a bit faster on the up beat. That slows down the dance. #Beginners #HaveFun

@@MsValerie123 i agree with you and Nicci. it’s a very good beginner’s dance. I like how each side step amounts to a 4-count where the person takes a step on the -1-, and the counts 2-3-4 bring the other foot next to it. A dancer could play the counts 2-3-4 plain and easy, or could add a little syncopation?
