I was there, 2nd row... 4th time seeing her live. every song great, whether French. LATIN, ITALIAN, ENGLISH, OR GOD.!!! Most of her videos are blocked to reactors, and fans are not that interested in the relatively few videos from her childhood that are not blocked. She is an adult artist now which is of more interest. Furthermore, the comment sections on most of her videos going back many years have been turned off. Her KZbin subscribers have increased an average of 1k per month the past several years, particularly since her performances on The Masked Singer that made her the most popular performer of the season with the TV audience. of 7M viewers. Don't forget she was out of the public eye for over a year battling anorexia and a serious car accident that broke her back, no recording or concert performances. The song she posted on Instagram is one she wrote and recorded last year titled "Get Out of My Life", a very personal song about her struggle overcoming perfectionism imposed upon her as a child by the industry. It has been very well received, and there are several interviews with her about the song and her story.....has absolutely nothing to do with Frank Sinatra, lol. She is presently working on an album of original songs she has been writing the past several years, expected to be release within the year perhaps.

@cl9786 Look at concert bookings and, CD sales - all seriously down. Reaction videos are just an indication of interest (look at Angelina Jordan). It's not anyone's fault, but Jackie's worst fear came true (she said in an interview when she was 10 that she was worried people wouldn't want to listen to her once she wasn't a little kid with an adult voice). She was, for the most part, right. If she had stayed in the classical crossover genre, she had a built-in audience. Her albums would still be selling well, and she would be booking concerts at smaller venues. I think she should sing what she wants - some of us will buy whatever she sings, but no matter how you spin it, the adult Jackie is not well-known. She is able to make a living, and that is a good thing. All we can do is support her - we can't make the world see her as we do.

As she said in interview, "I'm accepting things as they are". A year ago, she said in interview with Lindsey Parker, "My concern when I make music is always with my fans and with myself. If I'm proud of the project, and my fans enjoy it, that's the best I could hope for."....Again, in her Instagram introducing Get Out of My Life and talking about her struggle with having to be "perfect", she said, ""As long as I'm happy doing what I do and happy with what I put out into the world, that's all I could ask for. Her primary interest now is producing an album of exclusively original songs which will be her next album release when it is complete. Let's see what she has to offer from her personal experience, and not be concerned about her popularity, or lack of it.....She isn't. Yes, David Foster only works with great voices, and RARELY with kids. Last 'kid' I remember was Celine Dion. Jackie was and is the youngest Platinum selling solo artist, and that was done in 2010 I think. She now has 7-8 full length CD/DVDs out there to pick from. "Dream With Me" concert was her first "PBS Great Performances" solo concert. By age 12, she had TWO such concerts under her belt. By the time Frank Sinatra retired, he had three, so she's in good company.

Shakes-P, Oh Wow!!!! I'm so glad you got to experience the talent of this 11 year old accomplished young prodigy, She was born on April 9th 2000. This performance was in 2011 at Jackie's PBS Dream With Me Concert with David Foster on piano and also producing. I first seen her in 2010 on AGT at age 10. That's when I learned how she started her journey into singing. She ended up in second place at the end. I watched her journey on the show and voted for her in each performance. This performance was done outside on the grounds of the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, FL USA. She did do some performances inside the Museum as well when she was there. I knew you would really like her, and she would surprise you. Well you know now, I have to drop more of her songs on you, more from this concert and some from another concert, more to come soon!!!!! You are going to end up with a playlist of her songs on your channels. Oh by the way, she doesn't just do Opera, Ha Ha. The entire concert was phenomenal. This was filmed for her first of three PBS specials. She was 11 here. Without her, you probably wouldn't have all the young singers you mentioned. She's since recorded 9 albums, almost all if not all, have gone gold or platinum. She's also the youngest solo artist to go platinum, knocking out Michael Jackson. Her new album is entirely of Joni Mitchell songs.

Yes. It is awesome. And, you have done other reactions to JME from her stage performances. And, after trying to describe it verbally, it always seems to end up as "WOW" which may be an acronym for "With Out Words". She has done 3 solo Public Broad Casting Great Performances, plus concerts and stage shows for tens of thousands with great orchestras and accomplished directors. But, what would it be like to have JME come to your home and perform just a few numbers without the stage, orchestra, conductor, lighting and production values costing thousands? All of this, without the assistance of the conductor, orchestra or backup singers. To see her do this, by herself, is just amazing. How does she do it? She said she is immersed in the music. I used to show Jackie's DVD's in nursing homes. Once an activity director came up after a show. She had a stunned look on her face as she said "there are people here who haven't responded to a single thing all day and they are applauding."

.@@teddytarp Nice to hear someone else talk about this. My beloved 88 year old Aunt had full blown Alzheimer's and hasn't spoken in over a year and doesn't know any of us. I went to visit her one day and after placing a set of headphones on her I played the Dream with me Concert of Jackie Evancho. I watched her from my chair for 10 minutes and obviously without saying a word she looked directly at me and began to shed those big tears which of course made me and the nurses cry as well. The ability to ever talk was not there because of several strokes but she was able to feel Jackie's beautiful voice. I made sure she always had music to listen to right up till she left us but I know her mind was happy.

You should hear her now too, she's all grown up. Her voice has changed but honestly I prefer her voice now. Unfortunately she has had struggles with an eating disorder that has slowed down her ability to perform so there aren't as many performances with her. I agree with Yoga Jedi. Although Jackie is fabulous, Amira is on another level & still in her teens. Amira’s performance of O Mio Babbino Caro with Andre Rieu & his orchestra has had in excess of 74 million views, so I suggest you react to that one also. Cheers Graeme

Amira fans are amusing, if not obnoxious......never missing an opportunity to brag about her on Jackie's videos, attempting to diminish Jackie with ridiculous statements like, "Amira is on another level." It will never end with these people. Jackie has given them a platform to exploit with unfettered tenacity to this day. What would you do without Jackie's shirt tails to cling to? Amira has never had what it takes to perform a solo concert, while Jackie had her first a age 9, again at age 10....3 concert special for PBS Great Performances at age 11, 12 and 14....youngest artist ever to headline Lincoln Center with a solo concert at age 11......a total of over 180 solo concerts nationwide plus performances in 9 other countries in her young career, not to mention her live duets with the likes of Sumi Jo, Jose Carreras, Andrea Bocelli, to name a few of the great artist she has recorded or performed with. Platinum and Gold albums represent another level Amira has not achieved... No need to go on. Her vocal mastery with her purity of tone speaks for itself.

We love Amira but if you are an Amira fan go to an Amira site and enjoy the video and chating with Amira fans. If you want to go to Jackie's pages do so without the express purpose of plugging Amira especially at the expense of Jackie. You do know Amira finds guys who coat tail Ms. Evancho embarrassing, right?

@@rehoboth2721 I put it on the HGT viewers, who were apparently not listening critically to her pitch control. Her HGT performances WERE amazing for a 9 year old, but she didn't develop her pitch control until later. But not everyone HEARS pitch control. This shouldn't surprise anyone that a 9 year old had room for improvement. Same with Jackie, but to a much lesser degree as a 10 year old. Age 10, she was amazing for a high school level teen. It wasn't until age 11 when Jackie became world-class with her 'Dream With Me' performances. I could only conclude that HGT was working under Cowell's instructions to distract viewers from listening critically with frantically gesticulating, hyperventilating judges. THIS WAS NOT AMIRA'S FAULT, as she was 9. This was on Cowell who was trying to recreate the same ratings bonanza on HGT that he blundered into with Jackie in 2010. AFTER that experience, Cowell went on his world-wide man-hunt for 'tiny tot opera singers'. Since age 9, Amira HAS gotten very very good, and developed her skills to the level of a top performer, but she wasn't spectacular [to me] at age 9. It was the viewers unwillingness or inability to hear her pitch control issues. Since then, the two singers have taken different stylistic directions, making them UN- comparable. THAT's what makes all this so silly and UN-necessary.
