At the ending of this comedy the steward Malvolio comments "I will have revenged with the whole pack of you" Then how do you say that this is a romantic or festive comedy rather than a dark comedy..... Whether I say this is a dark comedy, Am I wrong??

Well. Shakespeare has a speciality. And that is creating melancholy or contradiction or an ere mixture of genres. Even in Macbeth, which is actually a Tragedy, there's this Porter scene which is humorous and can be considered as a high laughing material.

I think that she meant that Homosexuality was a common theme in plays. I do not remember a single mention on society or laws during the Elizabethan times in the entire Module.
