Shakey is a true artist. His improvisational expression of blue grass/rockabilly is so nuanced like that of the great jazz musicians from the 20's & 30's. I love how the melodies ramble, then ricochet, whisper & roar. He's in the zone with unapologetic abandon. And it's incredible!

Even if that were the case, the result speaks for itself. He has more talent in his little finger than most musicians in the history of musicians. He makes other musicians look merely "so-called." This is a thing that can only be achieved with dedication, much time spent, and probably not much socializing, though he is very charismatic and I can't imagine him having trouble making friends. He is only 30, and he already has done so much, musically, and almost every bit was self-made. I can't wait to see what the next 10 years will bring. Great interview and performance - I really love the exchange between these guys, you can tell they're both just having a lot of fun. Been a Shakey fan for years and so excited for him to get the publicity he deserves! Thanks for releasing this, Audiotree!

I thought as an interview it was completely useless, nothing meaningful asked and nothing meaningful answered. It was as though the ginger guy couldn't think of a question or anything useful to say so he just talked shite. As far as a bit of ice breaking chit chat to put a guest at ease it was OK but a bit awkward really!

You know that’s actually one of my favorite moments and I could never understand that questioning, unsure look on his face at the very end? Like my fav live Paul Simon album moment is when his voice breaks for just a second in bridge over troubled water. I find it so idk real and endearing like one kinda crooked tooth or something… I know weird but it just shows people are human. I really embrace those moments.
