So since it has been about a day since the Genshin Impact 4.2 update went live, I think it's high time I present you the new voice lines of All Archons talking about Furina.

Venti imo likes to hint at stuff or be coy and I think we will find out that Furina doing what she did probably changed the tragetory of Teyvets fate as a whole and not just fontaines (we did find out that the heavenly principles can be tricked after all, which means that its possible that other will now use that for their own advantage)

Then she split off her divine power and memories and put them into the Oratrice, basically making two separate beings. The divine: Focalors in the oratrice, and Furina the vessel that forgot everything and is powerless. Just a human.

Furina, a Human, gained respect from all the other Gods with her sheer commitment to not let her people die. A human who stepped onto the realm of a God and become the best among them. Truly a perfection as Focalor said.

I think Furina was long past her breaking point, and little of her past self remains now. It's quite tragic, but I also find her very admirable, as she still kept herself together before other people, demonstrating her unwavering willpower.

The only reason she didnt get it instantly the moment she was no longer archon was because her ambition and idea of justice was not incredibly prominent until she resonated with herself once again for the musical. She made a rule to never again set the stage so she would not be harmed like that again. But she made the sacrifice a fair trade of sacrifice for salvation. if she wasnt ever the archon according to the heavenly principles durinf her 500 years of suffering she would have gotten one long ago for her sacrifice in order to protect the nation.

if I remember correctly, Focalors and Furina are the same person but were separated into 2 entities after receiving the archon title , one as a human and the other as divinity to fool the heaven principle. Anyway, I think she deserves the title of archon by simply having the same level of willpower and endurance of a regular archon.

Tbh. I think his avoidance seems telling Venti we know isn't telling us the full story in general, he has kept secrets from us about other stuff. To me it seemed the heavily principles was tricked a little to easily. I wouldnt be surpised if Focalor's plan didn't 100% work. And from my point of view, I feel like Furina is more than your average human I wouldn't be surprised if she was still somewhat "God-like" like its hidden deep within her somehow I mean she can change her alignments at will which seems really powerful of an ability. Maybe some of Focalors power returned or is within her somehow?

Arlecchino was quite right to question whether Furina had any emergency plans. And considering what happened, she clearly didn't have any. Sure she doesn't have powers, but she could've used her position to employ the resources and manpower of the Fontaine government to prepare emergency measures. In the end, the Fatui were the ones providing supplies and backup, while Wriothesley has a flying ship for rescues.

I finished the Archon Quest a few hours ago...man, having no one to confide in, and hide who you truly are for the sake of saving a whole nation, the people past and present and future. Even seeing the moment Neuvillette realized the heavy weight Furina was carrying, alone, for 500 years hurt. And several other moments in this Archon Quest had me on an emotional roller-coaster. Both Sumeru and Fontaine hit me in the feels.

Venti's hits different because he solely talks about inviting her out and making friends, He talks about how she should spend her freedom, She fought for centuries to make sure Fontaine survives, and Venti wanted her to experience her freedom, Newfound freedom is like a newborn baby to him. Side Note: Ei comparing her duel with the Shogun to Furina's suffering truly shows how much respect she has for Furina. True it wasn't as physically taxing, but Furina still put in as much effort

I've never thought of watching Ei pronounce such words, but it is true what she spoke. She spent a long time in confinement completely alone, but she has the determination of an archon. It's a wide help. Furine, on the other hand, was a simple human pretending to be an archon. Perhaps she was "free" to "go where she pleased," but that was not completely true. She was chained to a promise, the promise of being and acting as an archon, so she couldn't enjoy her true life. Not only that, but she was also confined to solitude since she was unable to talk to anybody about her feelings and her weight. She was a mere puppet of destiny, suffering silently. Just too much to bear for a simple human and for such a long time.

This is only my theory, but in my opinion while Furina is now a mere human, she is only one recharge away from godhood. What I mean is, yeah she is the "shell" of Focalors, but a an empty bottle of wine is still considered part of the wine. The thing is, while right now the bottle is empty bc the content is moved to another bottle (Neuvillette) if she somehow got near another source of power, it could easily be refilled into another bottle of wine. Furthermore, Furina is an empty bottle that is ready to be filled, unlike other human/vision bearers that need to be molded anew (asend/died first, like Vanessa's case), to retain divinity. So, in case of for example Neuvi died, or Celestia falls & their accumulated power is released, Furina might be able to asorb it & became a god once more. It was why despite everyone else calling her a fraud, none of the Archons differentiate Furina from Focalor. For them, they're the same, just with a different role. You don't suddenly not became a God when you lose the gnosis, every archon before this is the living proof. It's just that she is now a human, like how Venti probably would revert to his wind-spirit form if he loses his powers, or Nahida becoming a mere branch once more.

Hmm, I get what you're saying. But this case is different because the entire throne is gone now. The divinity of an Archon is supposed to act as a middle man between humans and Celestia. Now there is no middle man, Neuvillette has his full power which is not dependent on Celestia at all so he can even grant Visions (which is how Furina got hers as a human) while other Archons cannot. Normally this would put a human one step closer to the possibility of ascending to the heavens, but that is Celestia's decision at the end of the day. Since Celestia is no longer involved with Hydro vision bearers it's impossible for Furina to ever ascend back to true godhood. Neuvillette granted her a Vision which is essentially sharing a shard of his power with her, and I think that is the best thing that could have happened in this scenario.

Where would their power go next? The thing is, Archons are a God first before they're an Archon. It's why we have Salt God Halvia, and Xiao's old Master. _Gnosis_ is the actual bridge between Humanity & Celestia. In my opinion, Focalors sacrifice her divinity to make sure the Gnosis goes to Neuvillette without Celestia's interference (aka erasing tge throne of Hydro Archon), not just to make up Neuvi's lack of power. And like, the thing is Furina's body is still a body of a God, just without the divinity. It's a ready-made empty bottle that can be filled with anything (while normal human are incomplete glasses that need to be molded first) So, if she ever come into contact with _any_ divinity, not just Hydro based or Celestia sourced (ex. Remains of Osial's sealed power, and old God that was sealed, even Irminsul Divine Knowledge) She should be able to absorb those divinity, and "ascend", unlike normal people that would go mad. It's not about how she will never become the Hydro Archon once more, (because it is true, Focalor did erase that) it's the posibility that Furina may be able to store enough power in her body that she will became a God once more, hence becoming part of the Seven most powerful existence _again_ (....or at least that's my theory)

I actually think its quite telling that out of all the archons, Venti tries to initially sway the conversation away from Furina deceiving Celestia to her just being an actor. Its only until he is pressed about it, does he quickly make an ambiguous statement of her being an artist. Its a stark contrast from the other archons as they're willing to go more in depth with what happened in Fontaine; Venti seems reluctant, which could hint that he knows something about Celestia that we don't.

Its kinda profound how much Ei and Furina suffered so much. Its even more mind blowing when you think that Ei suffered just as much but for a longer time. Isolated for 500 years inside the Plane of Euthymia and another 500 years fighting against the Shogun puppet. Imagine if Furina had to suffer for a millennium. Or the fact that Ei during 500 years play both the rôle she have as the kagemusha (battle part of the electro archon) and the Makoto part (ruler part of it) after the cataclysm but don t choose it and was force to assume the rôle as she considerate pré quest 2 nothing more than a weapon who exist only to protect Makoto and Inazuma. Even though Furina lives her life like a normal human being, she’ll always be the Hydro Archon to me. Playing her part for 500 years is so suffocating and sorrowing just to protect her fellow Fontainians. I used to hate her so much during the early archon quests, but now after finishing it, I can’t help but thinking what will Furina be in the future. There’s this longing emptiness prolonged in my heart. Thank you, Furina. 😢

So apparently the people's perception of the situation is that what Furina said about giving her power up for "Indemnidium" is what is accepted as the truth amongst the Fontanians. So people still see her as an Archon. Might be for the best, IMO. I still feel like the situation is extremely fragile, and a whole nation finding out about Furina's secret would probably spell trouble for Fontaine as a whole. TLDR: Zhongli was even more right, Furina will go down in history as a God of Justice worthy of praise. Fake it till you make it, right? Maybe she'll ascend to Celestia when her day comes.

Even if the throne doesn’t exist for now, Furina will be Fontaine’s archon. Her willingness to the act and to save everyone is enough to grant her the title of a god herself. I have a feeling we will see Furina again, alongside the rest of the gods, bearing Focalors’ powers.

Quite a few people asking whether "Furina" is an Archon or Human. In simple terms, Focalors split herself into two, One her divinity for which she kept the name "Focalors" as is, and the other as Human Form and named that form as "Furina". Both Furina and Focalors were a single entity one was just pure divinity and the other is a simple human. Focalors made "Furina" believe that she is her mirror self and needs the help and played her part.
