Tantric literature also connects Krishna to Tripurasundari, that Krishna is masculine form of Vishnu materializing Tripurasundari’s desire to manifest so 🙏🏼

Regarding the Kaali - Krishna connection, there are two prominent narratives that I have heard of from Tantra - 1) Krishna is none other than Kaali manifested in the masculine form as Shiva expressed a desire to be the feminine and love Mahadevi as her beloved. Hence, Maa Kaali manifested as Krishna and Lord Shiva manifested as Raadhaa. 2) That Maa Kaali is the mother of Krishna and hence in Bengal, there is a version of Kaali worshipped as “Krishna-Maataa Kaali. I am not sure if Krishna can be equated with Shiva as Mahaakaal. None of the Devi stotrams or Sahasrananaams mention Shakti/Kaali as the consort of Krishna/Vishnu. They all categorically call Kaali and all forms of Dasha Mahavidya as partners of Shiva (Bhairava). The only exception to that is Dhumaavati as she doesn’t have a Bhairava (and is considered to have consumed/swallowed Shiva/Bhairava himself).
