Fun fact, the artist, Noizi Ito made the illustrations for Shakugan no Shana is the same artist that made the illustration for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumyia. The artist is working on another project right now and I can't read it cause it never got translations but man, she's been a inspiration for me since discovering her associations with these works. Edit: Which is why both shows look the same.

This is such an underrated series considering it wasn't made mainstream, but you can tell the people behind it put do much love into the series! It's some of the few anime not mainstream that's worth a good watch!

its not underrate bro, if its underrate then it won't get up to 3 season...it just that nowdays people don't watch old anime *(for me old anime is the real diamond as the story is really good with following the manga really well where nowday the people and the director just keep on putting their own storyline rather than follow the real manga author story and ruin up the story until it unacceptable)*

@@ongsoon1336 Bro, it's a holiday and I'm not gonna argue a fact. Yes it is a diamond. I was complimenting the series. When I first started watching before the third, final conclusion of series came our I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was sometimes confusing with a complicated narrative, but I stuck with and really enjoyed it. It had a more mature feel and approach that I honestly liked unlike the usual bread and butter if a quirky, at times childish mainstream plot to the popular Shonen out there. When I tell other weeks about it, they look at me funny and have no idea it even exist. That's why I said underrated. Not that I said it was bad, just that it's not in your big name money market that, let's face it, sells mediocre! The same shit, different day anime we've seen a thousand times over, with other characters from other series. Sometimes I find something good and really love it and feel unique, because others don't usually watch that. The veteran weeks tgat stand in their own category. With Shakugan no Shana, I found something new and surprisingly well done, and really felt the emotion, unlike other series that take that away so they can just one punch villains like they were kit Kat bars. Anyway, I just wish that Shakugan no Shana had gotten better marketing for it work. It had some slow slice of life moments, because the plot called for it and focused on that aspect based on the story. I really gotta watch that season finale. I hope it gives me same feels like I got with Inuyasha the Final act! That season made me cry for so many good characters, Kikyo, Kagura, Kanna! Those for souls suffered and went through such BS! And I was thoroughly satisfied how they did Naraku, that bastard got wut came for him! Anyway, happy Thanksgiving!

This anime had top class music. Many I still listen to present day. My top 4 Shana songs are Hishoku No Sora, Serment, Joint, and Being. Not in any order and I say top four because these to me are in a category of their own among the Shana songs and I can listen to daily.

This show is underrated. So good and knows how to make each character relatable. Especially the Denizens you can relate to their actions of consuming power of existence for their survival. They don't make ln adaptations like this...

You should watch Shakugan no Shana, Shakugan no Shana II Second and Shakugan no Shana Final, it's story plot is interesting, Shakugan no Shana is my 1st anime (I'm was 14 years old back then) to get me into anime fan till today ~ Even my Mom said Shana is cool when she transformed, her hair changed into red color, wearing black coat and holding katana (when she's watching one of the episodes in Shakugan no Shana at TV broadcast back then)

I finished SnS yesterday and... just wow. It was amazing. Maybe sometimes slow, sometimes confusing, but all of this make sense at the end. Without slower episodes there wouldn't be such emotional bond between me and characters. Then 3rd session wouldn't be so emotional at all. I wish it can get remake, but not because it needs it. Of course it would be great to see Shana in flames with nowadays graphics, but it's not necessary. I wish remake come true because it can be more popular then, maybe we could get LN translated to English. Too bad that there are only few volumes translated. I would love to jump into whole story that didn't fit into anime and movie. From all openings this is most emotional for me. I never skipped it, it's just beautiful how it's sync with plot of anime. SnS deserve to be more popular on the west...

Shakugan no shana is amazing but without mami kawada I wouldn't have catched me that much. Shana is the only anime I gave watched 10 times. I have watched an anime twice. But shana has so much depth. I m shocked how much i missed in the first run.
