ppl are taking the steroid thing way out of apportion we are missing the fact that Ryan re hydrated up to 165 pounds the night of the fight. Steroids will make you stronger over time it's not going to give you more velocity on your punches. The extra weight had way more to do with the extra power. It's a simple math Kinetic Energy: The kinetic energy (KE) of an object is given by the formula: KE = 1/2 mv2 where m is mass and v is velocity. An object with a larger mass or higher velocity will have more kinetic energy, which can result in more damage upon impact. That being said you can why boxers tried to re hydrate as much as they can
