Just a heads-up that this demonstrates a dangerous set-up! The files directory should *not* be in public_html. There's a warning on the installation form about this. Also, 777 permissions are never safe to use in production.

@@Shakzee OK, but someone following these instructions will get hacked and I'd suggest putting a note on the video about it. A hacker can create an account, upload a malicious .phtml file as part of a new submission, then guess the URL to it and cause it to be executed on the server. Besides that, with this configuration all submission files can be downloaded from the webserver if directory indexing is enabled or you can guess their filenames. This means unpublished content, subscription-based content, etc., bypassing OJS's access controls to that content. For these reasons it's important to put file storage outside the web root, or protect it from direct access using a .htaccess file or similar.
