Just a comment on Lucknow Real Estate pattern, Aman quoted that 2bhk in Shalimar at 11:54 costs 1.2Cr. My relative in Bangalore just bought a 2BHK in a Prestige build apartment at one of the sought after location near ORR where all the high paying jobs exists for IT and Finance for 1.2Cr. Is Lucknow real estate over valued and prices are comparable to Tier 1 cities considering the fact that there are no high paying jobs over here where a normal salaried class can buy an apartment.

I think you are comparing oranges with apple, first of all it’s the per sq. Ft price, flats in lucknow are 20-30% bigger in size, second IT is not the only sector with high paying jobs, yes Bangalore has a big cluster of upper middle and middle class and that’s why the contrast. Also, Bangalore has much bigger inventory of flats, lastly…it’s a demand and supply market equation. Last I checked there were 65000 flats unsold across Bangalore, so obviously there’s more supply than demand and hence price comparatively looks attractive.
