Whis in the beginning of the game did say Shallot ki is similar to the the ancient saiyans. Vegeta even said his armor is similar to the ancient saiyans of planet Sadala. If they are saiyans from U7( which they are) means they're from planet Sadala and were the good saiyans from the civil war on Sadala that caused it's destruction . Yamoshi was the 1st legendary super saiyan and super saiyan god. The war caused the planet's destruction, and I believe that was Sadala blowing up in the intro for legends

Shallot and Giblet are way far back in the time of dragon ball, they even made it known during the early books that they were *ancient* saiyans from the past. The only thing that was hinted about them before was the legend of the Super saiyan God and the CIVIL WAR that planet vegeta had way before frieza had showed up. As much as people wanted ssj4 shallot, this was already something that the game developers already planned on. Plus no one can't tell me Shallot be clean or wildin if he was placed on God ki. XD

Shallot might as well be a Sparking units, he literally dominates almost of the new units unless he was on a Sayian team

Him being a transformable HERO unit that is neutral to every color is what makes him special. HERO Nail was made specifically to be a supportive unit for shallot. Turning Shallot into a Sparking unit would make Nail completely useless.
