This is so good. At the beginning, I was going to play the song without the fingerpicking but I decided to do it as a challenge, and every time I get better at that fingerpicking, it sounds beautiful but I can’t sing and play it at the same time. That’s why I will keep practicing until I can play that and sing and the same time. Thanks for teaching it, challenges are very good, and they are the only way to get better on what you want to do/learn.

Yeah. I don't know if anyone feels this way too. But goodness, once you've got CGF down... How can we get any better if someone isn't showing us how to get there. there has to be something in between basics and Jake SHimabukuro (spelling?) And learning about pull offs and stuff is cool. One day, my dream, is to be really good at jazz on the ukulele. I'm pretty good at barre chords but i still have to get my pinky to show up to the party. She does not know how to dance with the rest of the crew. because a lot of those jazz chords need 4 fingers. But you have to do a mixture of simple and intermediate I know, for people who just got their ukulele yesterday. I don't know if i am the only one out there who wants to be really good though. Its a silly goal with no usefulness really, but i think it would be cool. ps. i watched plazi video of you singing at kanilea booth you looked and sounded beautiful!

@@ukuleleangela6153 I'm glad she did as well, Im originally a guitar player so I already know a lot of challenging things and was happy to find an explanation of this song with intermediate things so I could get straight to how I wanted to play, though its still a change and challenging for me, expecially since I haven't played my guitar in a while so I dont got my calluses

@@Anna-eq7jk thats awesome! now im thinking of buying a guitar and learning to play just to help me be a better uke player
@Anna-eq7jk4 жыл бұрын
@@ukuleleangela6153 It might not help you in that aspect. For me it helped because I already knew things such as finger clamping and pull offs, which she teaches in this lesson. The chords are all different so if you aren't interested in playing guitar for your own entertainment it might end up being a waste. Im having to relearn chords since the chords are different for the two. So I would recommend practicing Ukulele as much as you can rather than switching to a different instrument which will take time to relearn chords. Though if you are interested in playing guitar I highly recommend it! It's challenging but fun :) Both instruments take a lot of time and effort but in the end its worth it and they both sound beautiful.
