Richard. You may know this, but I’m going to say it anyway. We love so much about your channel. The tips, the knowledge, the family friendly content, the humor...but one thing makes your channel grow and grow and KEEP your subscribers way past other fishing channels. You have NEVER tried to sell us anything. No gimmicks here! You recommend, you give opinions, but you never try making money on a feller. You are just that kind of a guy and I think I speak for many...thank you for being a fisherman’s fisherman. God bless you and yours.

You make this look so easy. Like when you have a fish on. I’ve learned a lot thus far from watching your videos and I’ll continue to watch. I do not have a boat so I’m landlocked and have to fish from the bank. None the less I go fishing whenever I can, cause it’s good for me.

Thank you Richard for showing an old dog new tricks and getting me off my bu--- and headed to the river. You fill me with confidence with every video of yours I have watched. I also have saved a lot of money by rethinking my need of EXPENSIVE rods! I won't name them.

Got rising muddy water here in Illinois. Been catching em in 3ft of water , water temps was 38° when I caught em. Crazy! Rising muddy water they will be much more shallow! Amazing how water clarity can impact the depth of the fish regardless of water temp. Your water is fairly clear, love learning these patterns! Thanks Richard!

I loved your impression of pro anglers :,) that was exactly what they do! They spread their legs, reel down tight and try to kill their cameramen on the hook-set! Idk if that's what that was, but that's how I saw it

Love your channel Richard, I learn something new more often than not. This is my favorite way to fish though, up here in Ohio. A texas rigged trick worm is my go to, especially since I'm stuck to fishing from the bank seein' as how I ain't got no boat yet. Thanks for the quality videos and sharing your knowledge brother, keep em comin'!

Love your videos Gene. Straightforward and easy to replicate. Quick question: How often do you retie your baits. I seem to need to do it every 3 or 4 fish or I risk having the knot break. Then again, maybe I need to find a better knot.
