I did the same thing on the same creek last week from the shoreline. Already there was a ton more, that place gets hit hard. Next time I go out there I am taking a kayak also but headed the other way.

@@BarFlyFishingTexas No worries Brother. I have always been the just throw stuff out there to see what happens fisherman but as you know that doesn't bear much fruit. Only recently have I really started digging in and watching successful anglers...learning from what they do successfully and try to reproduce that with my fishing. I recently went to Leona to a deer camp where they had a small pond....we are talking walk around this joker in like 2 mins. Clear water...bout 10 foot deep in the deepest part. Man I gotta tell you I must have been channeling my inner Barfly because the crappie were slamming. Twitching just a lil ole red head jig. Must of caught bout 15....no dogs...mostly hammers....couldn't believe this little unassuming pond would yield that many crappie. Anyhoo thankfully got it on my go pro. Appreciate you bud.

I can’t give you a specific rod because I use multiple sizes. I use ACC Crappie Stix, from 6’6” to 12’ long... but I have a partnership with them so just to be transparent. I also use the Piscifun Viper X, and Carbon X reels in 2000 size! I also have a brand partnership with that company as well but I love these reels. I would buy them regardless, both of these products for the money you can’t beat. Rods or Reels

Thank you for asking, can’t share locations, too many local viewers. Spots get bad enough without youtubers making it worse. We get along with locals and have access to private property for access in exchange for nondisclosure. I will tell you I have caught in 5 Dallas area creeks in the last two months including Denton Creek and Rowlett Creek.
