I love this band so much. I'll have to check out Nonpoint's music too because that was incredible. All of Shallow Side's lyrics has always been relatable, but this song hits different for me because I'm going through it. Masking myself so that i don't scare my loved ones is so draining. I need to set my truth free. Shallow Side's music helps quiet the intrusive thoughts and makes me feel not alone. Let's give it up for this incredible band and Nonpoint!!!! You guys are fire!!!

When I was about 15 years old me and my long life best friend started a band called Nonsense. His parents had a karaoke business called j&j jams and we had a big red barn shed beside it that we practiced in. One night when we were playing (practicing) we heard a knock on the door. After I opened the door there was a tall slim gentleman wearing black with a lip piercing and somewhat long black hair. He said “hey I heard you guys playing and I was wondering if I could play with you”? I said sure man, I was the drummer and my friend was the guitarist. He then asked if he could play my friends guitar and my friend Jared said “yes”. He started playing and I followed him on the drums and holy moly this guy IS FREAKING good. We sounded SUPERB. I was absolutely blown away. After our session he said his name was Seth and he was in a band called shadow side. I had absolutely no idea who shallow side was. I looked them up later that night and I was SHOCKED. Such an absolutely crazy night. It was in Cullman Alabama. Seth if you ever read this do you remember when You showed up with your friend Janessa who also has a band and a really good voice? Anyways thanks and your band is honestly one of the best bands I have EVER heard.
