Saw Sham the first time they came to the U.S. I wanna say 1987. A crappy venue in Santa Clara California called One Step Beyond. Terrible place to hear a show because of the room and acoustics. It was a new club and word was the reason there was so many good English bands was the Owner of the club was from England. Sham put on Great show but Lord's of the New Church and G.B.H also put on killer shows. Too bad Stiv couldn't last like Jimmy and Colin have. Peace

The original drummer was Mark Cain who left the band in 1979. This is Robin Guy Sham drummer for last 10 years. Different Class

I did like Sham69,a bit of a ramones rip off band without the long hair.I got various singles during the mid 80s and Hurry up Harry we`re going down the pub i got when i was about 20 always got me excited to go down the pub.A lot of shit songs they did though but a couple of good ones.Tell Us the Truth was one good tune.Tell us the truth,you could aim that song very much at all of our politicians.
