The story behind this song is different from other songs of SHAMAN. In contrast to all SHAMAN's songs which have been written by him solely so far, this time the song was written by other authors, but it fits SHAMAN very well, and he already told that he'll include the song in his concert program and in the first album. This is what is written in the description of the clip: "Hello Russia! The song "The Truly Russian Hit" was written for me by the participants of the international contest "Author!" Mr. Nikolai Chebanov from the Stavropol Region and Ms. Dilyara Khairullina from Naberezhnye Chelny. After having heard the first verse of the composition, I realized that I just couldn’t pass by and wanted to share it with millions of my fans. I made my own arrangement, added some musical elements and tried to preserve as much as possible that spark, that sincerity that Dilyara and Nikolai put into their work." Interesting fact is that there is a clear allusion in this song to the "Я русский (I am Russian)" song, as the guitar solo introduced by SHAMAN depicts the chorus theme from the "Я русский", and right after the guitar solo you can hear the phrase "Я русский" pronounced softly.

Shaman actually didn´t write this one, this song was written by two young artists, who won a competition for the best song, which Shaman heard and knew he had to include in his repertoire. The authors said they wanted to write a song about a ¨sad¨ Russian soul, its depth and complexity that unites all Russians. After hearing your reactions I think you can be called Russian too :)❤
