I have to think relaxing from ASMR can lead to reduced anxiety and lower blood pressure in some people. I’d like to see some studies done measuring vitals while watching these videos or having this actually done to you. The results would be interesting.

This is a very interesting healing ritual. In my class at University I'm learning about Myth, Magic and Shamanism and this video is a great example of what I was looking for. It's good to see that traditional medicine still plays a role in the rest of the world. I think we've lost touch with these healing rituals in Canada, the U.S and many other countries..

It is jungle tobacco or Mapacho and is a powerful healing plant. No sucking intrusions from a bottle of liquid. This is agua de florida and is an essence of many flowers from Peru. It is used by shamans throughout the andean region to offer protection and perform limpias or cleansings. Nothing to worry about! It is not Ayahuasca_Wasi. Thanks for asking. Take care and I hope your healing circle brings you a powerful transformation

My grandmother used aqua de florida (I am hispanic an aware of this water) in her rituals and splashed it on the walls of her home to cleanse it . I already attended a fire ceremony on the first equinox for the first time as well. It was very enlightening.

Wow there are alot of ignorant comments here. This is sacred work and the comments from lack of knowledge is killing me. This healer is really doing so clearing healing work on this man. Especially when he is sucking the lower energies from him. That is no joke. You really need to know what your doing and make sure your purge yourself after. This man really received a great clearing and blessings. I wish I could see the whole thing. If your not a healer or work with energy please be mindful of the comments asking a question would be much better. Nameste.

it's wonderful that you're keeping this tradition alive and bringing it to the US as well. wish i could afford you. do you treat Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? And how do you feel about the placebo effect?
@Alancito19579 жыл бұрын
+mmedeuxchevaux I do not tend to work directly on the condition that people come to me with but the underlying causes of a condition. You may notice other emotional/ physical changes as well the CFS but there is no guarantee of complete remission. Most people I work with notice a release of tension. Tension is the cause of most physical imbalances. The placebo effect is very effective and in a lot of shamanic culture there is definately a lot of theater designed to stimulate the placebo effect in people. The feathered headdresses and costumes are designed to impress the client, the same way as the white jacket and stethoscope around the neck of the doctor, the regalia of the army commanders: are all designed to trigger a response of respect and admiration. This as well as many other techniques are used to trigger the persons own ability to heal themselves. Most shamanic practitioners use a variety of techniques to stimulate healing, some directly used to trigger a placebo healing.

It is Aguas de Florida or flower water. The smell is the smell of the the hanaqoacha or upper world and invites the archetypes of that world to assist in the healing. Calling in the ancestors, the sages, Angels etc who inhabit that world. The tobacco calls in the healing spirits of the uhupacha or lower world. The plant spirits or animal spirits to bring in their power and healing efficacies. Both aromas also offer protection and pull out mal aire or negative spiritual energies

I do not understand the cigarette. Is it a "special" one or a one with tobacco and carbon monoxide like they make here in the US? That would be toxic energy I will be attending a shaman healing circle in October for the first time to see what it will entail. A little wary about the "sucking" intrusions from a bottle of liquid. Is this the Ayahuasca-Wasi retreat in Peru?

ricochet188 it's pure tobacco, it's a part of the ritual
@jeaniedragon81179 жыл бұрын
+ricochet188 Hi. The smoke is Mapacho and does not smell anything like cigarette smoke (which is stinky from all the chemical additives). It is closer to incense (or a smudge stick) and is used for the cleansing of the energy body, protecting the energy field of intrusions, and especially connecting the person to spirit or their higher selves. Smells like ceremony ;)
